Visited for a weekday lunch at 11:30 on a sunny but chilly November day on the Richmond harbor. Dress warmly if you have any... doubt - the air was fairly still but we decided the unheated interior was still better than the outside tables. There was plentyof room when we got there, the arriving clientele was casual, business casual and construction. The menu has variety; we pickedthe fish and chips based on previous experience and they were even better than we remembered. The cod was perfectly cooked andflaky, while the batter was light and crispy. The fries were cut small so the seasoning balanced out the taste of the potatonicely, and again, perfectly cooked. Not too much or too little garlic and light on the seasoning salt - this is not apedestrian dish by any means and I don't know of any better. If you are driving, you should look up your plan as you will needto pass by a guard shack but once inside there is plenty of parking (head all the way down toward the water), and it is verysafe feeling. Or you can just walk right over from the Bay Trail. Casual, delicious, and well worth the trip. Read more

This is a neat little restaurant on the water. Love sitting outside and when we went on a Saturday at 11am there was live music.... I was a little dissapointed that the menu had been completely changed since the last time I had come a few months earlier andwas left with very little to choose from. The burger was good, but when I was expecting to be able to order fish and chips itwas dissapointing. Read more

We ended up at Assemble on a rainy mid afternoon. At first we were bummed we'd loose brunch with a view of the Bay, but once we... had food it as all ok. I ordered the solid portion shrimp fried rice and perfectly seasoned fries (yes I was on a carb kick). The fries stick out to me because of how crunchy and well seasoned they were. I was able to sneak in a couple of bites of theirsalmon salad, my friend was having. Instant food envy. So fresh and light on the dressing. Lastly we shared desert, an orderthe Crème brûlée and chocolate ice cream. I favored the chocolate ice cream, so creamy, tasty and homemade! Read more
