So normally I give small hole in the wall restaurants like this a good chance but unfortunately I can't with this one the fries... tasted like fish Burger itself was good but the bread and vegetables or soggy totally disappointed especially since their nameis Great American hamburger. But of course I ate it all because I did spend over $20 for this and all I got was burger and friesand a drink I would not recommend this place. Read more

I remember this place as a child...going to swim at The Plunge! Anyway, was working in Pt. Richmond on Tuesday, decided to visit... this hamburger stand! And boy am I glad I did!!! The man who took my order was very nice, patient and thorough during my order.I like that! Answered ALL of my questions. The lady that was there was very nice as well. The place is clean and there isindoor & outdoor dining. I ordered a Cheeseburger...well done, after reading the reviews, couldn't decide if I wanted the GarlicFries OR the Onion Rings...SO...I said to myself...Self... you work, you can have both! I ordered BOTH and a coke! Now, the cokeis the reason this place only got 4 ????'s...it was flat! But that has NOTHING to do with the quality of this burger! I watchedhim make my burger. If anyone out there reading this is familiar with Hambricks...AKA 1/4 pound, used to be on 13th and Market across from Food Bowl...Any-hoo...THIS burger is similar to THAT burger...and YES, THIS place has the same type of mayo/saucethat 1/4 pound used to have! This burger is AMAZIN! A. REAL. BURGER! They have a list of milkshakes...almost ANY flavor!!!Garlic Fries AND the Onion Rings were EXCELLENT!!! I?ve been wanting to come here for a long time. Finally had a chance to and I ordered the double mushroom burger with a side of... onion rings. Service was fast and efficient. Burger was huge and the onion rings had a slight crunch to it, but well done on theinside. Definitely a hidden gem in Richmond. Read more
