Pretty good authentic Mexican food. You know it?s good when Mexican people like it. Quite busy, and good service. Food does take... some time since it is busy but worth it nonetheless. Had the carne Asada plate and the ingredients were all fresh. I do wishthey included some more guac and some pickled jalapeños. Read more

What?s going on with Masa!? Their food and service use to be good. Now the food is sloppily tossed together and employees that... behave like customers are a problem. Most of the time the food tastes fine- nothing spectacular but edible. Sometimes you?ll geta side of chips and other times you don?t. What?s problematic is if you order on DoorDash or some other food delivery service,they?ll end up leaving an item out and you won?t be refunded. I?ve ordered a bottled soda and flan before, two separate times,and have not had them in the bag. Whatever system they?re working with, it?s not working well. I don?t feel like wasting $5 andnot getting what I ordered. Tonight the tacos were just tossed together and the queso fresco was in weird giant chunks- likethey were too lazy to crumble it and make it look somewhat presentable. The asada taco with special crema tasted good but mostof it came off with the foil because the foil was wrapped so tightly. Oh well! Time to give em a break and maybe try again in afew months. Oh delicious Masa! Such a great discovery in Richmond. Judging by the menu alone, we knew we were going to be in for a delicious... surprise. I ordered the Birria Ramen, and it is exactly what you think. Don't be like me though and expect anything else on theside. It is Tapatio ramen drenched in birria. Good enough for a satisfying meal. I didn't even know Tapatio made instant ramen,and apparently they come in hella flavors. We also ordered the agua fresca which was MASSIVE. You order cafeteria style so makesure you're ready when you come up to the cashier. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Since the weather in the EastBay is always better, we opted for a nice outdoor meal on their front patio. Read more
During my last trip, this place quickly became a staple. I ate here everyday for lunch and always had the quesabirria... tacos. This place is outstanding! Cannot stress enough how good their food is. I was always on lunch so I never got to tryany of their delicious looking mixed drinks, but this would be the place to come watch a game, eat some tacos, and have a fewdrinks. Read more
