Members are ok, pretty inconsiderate. Staff are good. Rules dont exist at this country club. Slow pace of play and you... literally have to defend your tee times. No one actually monitors who goes out on the course. You could be a non-member and juststroll onto the course and no one would bat an eye. This one of the worst golf experiences for a CC I?ve seen in 25+ years ofplaying golf. The weird part?.all the members love the fact that there is absolutley zero structure. Just do whatever you wantand the most entitled wins. I resigned after 6 years and have never looked back. Don?t dump money into this place, its not worthit. Read more

Awesome traditional style golf course. Good variety of long and short holes, many lined by large trees. Greens are challenging... with a variety of slopes and well bunkered. Plays longer than the listed yardage. If you get invited, definitively playRichmond CC. Read more

Richmond Country Club is a historic golf course built in 1924. The Club hosted three PGA tournaments from 1946 through 1948. The... Richmond Open as it was called was the first PGA event to invite African American players due to the club president's insistencethat African Americans be allowed to compete. Richmond Country Club also hosted several LPGA events in the 60's. Very friendlymembership and warm environment. The course is well maintained and is a good test of golf skills. It is great place to hangout. Those fortunate enough to join will undoubtedly thoroughly enjoy the Richmond Country Club experience. Read more
