This restaurant has classic food and service as you'd expect from Bob Evans. I'm writing because the manager, Nick, went above... and beyond to help us. After dining, we discovered the battery in our vehicle went unexpectedly dead. We asked random people fora jump, but no one had time and jumping cables. Desperate, as we were on a trip hundred of miles from home, we asked an employeeinside the restaurant for guidance. Without question, the manager, who was cooking in the kitchen, took time from his busyschedule to meet us with his vehicle and set up jumping cables. We learned he had a degree in mechanics. The battery wouldn'tstart so he suggested a place that delivers batteries, which is exactly what happened. We were impressed and grateful for Nick'sspontaneous reaction to help. Thanks, Nick!! Went here for breakfast & took forever to get seated. They weren't even that busy. Then the waitress took our order rather... abruptly. When she brought our food out, it was also abrupt & that was the only time she ever came back to the table. No refillsor anything until we had to flag her down for to go drinks as we were leaving. We could tell she was intentionally avoiding ourtable & was very blunt & rude. But the food was good. Read more
I called in an order from the parking lot and waited for curbside delivery. It was only 15 mins from the time I ordered till I... got my hot food and cold drink. Everything was as I expected and I'd do it again. I have never been disappointed in food, waittime or service dining in or carrying out from this restaurant in the4 years I have lived here. Read more
Friendly server: Ed made us feel right at home and gave us some ideas for yummy meals. We ended up with Grilled Chicken... Strawberry Salad, my Mom had banana bread and coffee with freshest fruit, and my husband loved the Honey Chicken with mashedpotatoes tasted like homemade with Gravy. It is a very affordable place to get a bite and very clean. Read more
This is not the Bob Evans everyone has known and enjoyed for many years. BE has changed. The food quality has changed... drastically and as for customer service it is hot & cold depending on which restaurant you visit. Our family used to befrequent customers, but any more we visit BE as a last resort. Read more
Typically a great place for down home meals. But this morning the staff was limited with customers waiting out front and outside... of restaurant. Only 2 servers, full crew didn't show, service was slow. However, the special fresh strawberries on French Toastwas outstanding. Would go back if I had more time. Read more
Place is clean still social distancing in dining room waitresses was both friendly & checked on us made sure service was... excellent. Food was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Bathroom's r very clean to. Keep up the great work Read more
Wasn't busy at all...took 10 minutes to be seated...another 25 minutes to get our food...pancakes were awful and cold...butter... was frozen. Eggs were watery and not cooked all the way. Gravy was burnt and biscuits were hard. My friends burger was cold andfries still half frozen. Had to have them take half the food back. The person seating us was transgender man and very unpleasantto deal with. Everyone seemed unhappy to be there. Table and wall near table was filthy. I will never eat here again...turned meoff of Bob Evans all together.
