(VERY DISAPPOINTED)Spent 40$ plus a tip, and was honestly very dissapointed. All my food was cold, fries were soggy and clumped... together. I know it's delivery but still, I live right down the road from the actual restaurant, so I don't understand whyeverything was so cold. Average board game Cafe. Menu was outdated (staff even said so). Game selection was a bit lackluster, but had the "essentials."... My order of a black coffee took a long time to get, but the staff made a simple mistake and made up for it with a free brownie.Honestly, it just seemed like this place needs a better manager and someone to keep better track of what is working and whatisn't working. Tons of potential and a great location. Still a decent place to kill an hour or two. Read more
Sadly disappointing. If you're looking to kill time playing board games or you just want a quirky environment without a lot of... substance, this place is fine. The Mad Scoops portion is fantastic, but that's pretty much it. Service is decent. Not especiallywelcoming but not rude. Sadly the food is subpar. We've eaten there around 6 or 7 times now. The first few meals warranted theprice, but the past 3 or 4 haven't even been finished. Delivery is a bit slow, but that's understandable considering they havequite a bit of business. Even being a few blocks away, however, our meals are ALWAYS cold. The fries are stuck together as ifthey weren't cooked all the way through. The dressing on burgers and sandwiches is obscenely heavy. I had no less than 2tablespoons of mayonnaise on my sandwich at one time. The bread was soaked though. I couldn't even eat half of it after scrapingthe mayo off. I just left this place. First time trying it. Don?t waste your money. The woman working in the front was super nice and... friendly. The guy (Didn?t get his name unfortunately) who took our order was SO beyond rude- no sense of customer servicewhatsoever. Also, I asked if they have a student discount. He said yes. I showed him my ID and he didn?t apply it. The menusounds good, but the food is not prepared the way described on the menu. All of the food is frozen and microwaved. Very poorquality. Used to be great. Boasted a large assortment of new style board games. Now it has a tavern feel to it and a smaller selection of... boardgames. Food is good, but not worth the price. Read more
