From the time you walk through the door until you walk back out, you're made to feel like family here. It may not look like much... on the outside, but the service, the food, and the prices are second to none. I drive two hours in the wrong direction just tohave lunch here. The service here was great, but everyone in our party agreed that the food is better at most of the other Mexican restaurants in... town. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, it seems to be too "Americanized" and bland. Maybe that's because it's neara college campus? The decor is not what you expect for a Mexican restaurant. It's just a big rectangle (it's in a strip malltype building), the walls are painted a neutral color, and no decorations to give it any Mexican character. There are only abouthalf as many tables as could fit inside so everything is awkwardly spaced out. It feels kind of like a bingo hall inside. Read more

A great authentic place with student-friendly pricing. The staff knows what they were doing and I enjoyed the food. There were... a couple of vegetarian options. Presentation was solid and the ingredients were good. To improve just a bit, adding some blackbeans, corn, or cilantro to the taco salad would give it more depth.
