Went here because kids had the pizza at school a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty good. Signs outside said $4.99 large... cheese for customer appreciation. They would not honor this and said it ended at 7 (even though signs were up at 7:15 with nomention of ending time). Super loud tvs and music inside. We were the only ones there for dine in, but they said they could notchange channels on tvs or reduce volume. The tvs wee not capable of that according to the manager on duty. Ordered a smallsalad, a large cheese, large pepperoni, and 5 bottled cokes and it was $56! Had to ask where salad was after about 25 minutesand they had put it in the fridge instead of giving it to us ?so it wouldn?t spoil ? as they said. Then about 10 minutes later(so 36 minutes after we ordered) I went back up to ask where the pizzas were and they were in boxes behind the counter?overcookedand getting cold. They just handed me the boxes?for dine in. I asked if they had anything to eat them on and was told ?I don?tknow what they are doing in the back..I just work the front?. This location has good service, I always get to go or delivery. In acuality its much faster to get delivery than picking up in... person! I feel the prices are much too high without coupons, and use the app to get weekly deals, and coupons are alwaysattached to the boxes from delivery orders. Try them out! Read more
One of our favorite local pizza restaurants In Richmond. They have gluten free options and more. We have done delivery and... pickups for pizza and every time they were spot on. Dine in option too. Knowing how hard it is to find gluten free safe placeswe were happy to have found Marcos. The pizza is really good, delivery is fast, counter service spot on and more. Definitelyput them at the top of our local go to list for gluten free eats. Small but quaint dining area. Handicap accessible parking andbuilding. While there are no changing tables in the mens room- parking is close enough for emergency changing . They seem keenabout gluten issues and are always on point with seemingly complex pizza orders- seemingly endless topping and combooptions. Our local go to spot. Read more
4/8 DO NOT ORDER PIZZA FROM HERE. Specials are great but the customer service needs assistance! I ordered a pizza for pick up... when I got it the pizza was wrong. They had to remake it. It was over 10 minutes, finally I asked how much longer it was goingto take? The manager Jorge said ?it?s Friday, you know, we are busy(showing hand motions) like dismissing the problem. Afteralmost an hour I left with a refund and no pizza. They didn?t offer anything to the customer for THEIR mistake! Never again!Customer service from the manager was the worst I have ever experienced. Please check on his attitude. Jorge should not be amanager. 4/14. I got a reply back email from Jorge and it was scripted!!! Here is my reply to him!!! I was really upset aboutthe time i waited, but what really made it worst was the way YOU treated me. Your employees were respectful and MORE courteousthen you. You not once apologized on your treatment to a customer. So this was a waste of your time and scripted. This location is hit or miss when you expect quality. Ordered a cheesy bread and it was delivered with almost no cheese and just... about to the point of being burnt. Have continued to order from this location since they are the only delivery option and it isa mystery whether the order will be correct or not. Their running average is maybe a 75% chance of the delivery being what wasordered. I will be driving to a different location and picking up my order instead to avoid this problem. Read more
***Update*** I'm unsure why this location puts out coupons since they either won't work with you on the GF option, or even honor... the coupon for a regular pizza. Tonight I called to order a medium regular crust pizza with 1 topping for $6.99 carry-out, pertheir website coupon. Well after talking to 2 different people on the phone both telling me they don't have that coupon (seeattached photo) they finally honored it. If another pizza place nearby gets a similar or better GF crust I will be switchingover. Until that time I'll have to deal with the headaches of this location. It's a shame because their pizza is pretty good,but customer service dropped them from a 4 star review to a 2 star. ***Original Review*** Marco's is one of the few pizzaplaces in our area that has a really good Gluten Free pizza. I gave 3 stars because they don't offer Gluten Free on their onlineordering system, which means I have to call them. They also don't honor coupons for their Gluten Free crust. I offered for themto tack on the difference in crust cost after the coupon, but they wouldn't. So it's nice that they offer Gluten Free, but itdoesn't seem like they really care about making it easy, or giving any coupons for those of us with a medical issue. Read more
