My son went to get a haircut next door to this restaurant. I parked in front of this restaurant because I was going to order... some burgers for me and my son. But first I had to go to the corner store to get cash for my sons haircut. An African Americangentleman came out and said parking is for customers only. I tried to explain to him what I was doing and he shut the door whileI was explaining. Rude and guess who won?t be eating here. It would have been my first time too. Quaint place. Small but full of German life. I got lucky because they had a band passing. Small mom and pop group. Very good.... The food was great and I will return!! They also have a food truck that hits the breweries. Nothing better than beer and Germanfood. They have seating inside and out. It took all that I had to eat my fried German bologna sandwich. Excellent German influenced food. This place used to be a food truck, and they opened this location January 2020. They offer... burgers, brats, potato soup, snitzle, and great sides. We had the Texan Burger, original brat, curry fries, cheese sprackle,ans sauerkraut. The burgers were cooked perfectly and very juicy. The Texan burger has cheese and fresh Jalapenos and Irecommend it. My friend had the Original Brat, which is served in a fresh bun with spicy mustard and sauerkraut, and it is wasdelicious. The spicy curry fries are drenched in curry sauce and tangy mayonnaise, these were very good and the portions areplenty big enough to share. We also had a side of the homemade sauerkraut with bacon bits. This must be a family recipe passeddown for generations, and is a taste of german food at its best. The pasta cheese spatzle (I think thats the right name) wasgood, but felt it could have used a little more zest in the flavor. The staff was extremely friendly and the owner sees to ithis patrons are taken care of. They serve beer and wine, so this is a great place to enjoy an adult beverage and have greatfood at the same time. They seem to have a good following as they have only been open a few weeks, but they are already hopingwith plenty of customers. Great food, excellent service, very fast and friendly. The food was awesome! Ready to come back and try more options. We really enjoyed the spatzel (kid friendly), Reuben, sauerkraut,... and fried potatoes and onions that came with the sausage platter. Staff was fine, but could have been more cheerful, inviting sowe feel at home. Read more
