Came here with my family. Ordered quite a few dishes. Food is good. Service is good. I did go at a non peak time. I do wish the... staff was more knowledgeable about the menu. Went for reverse happy hour. I like that they have this. Wanted a late night snack. Service was friendly. A little odd but they... tried their best. Some things were a hit or miss but overall a good experience. Soft shell crab 5/5 Crispy and well cooked.Good appetizer. Came with just a crab but for $6 can?t ask for more. Shrimp tempura 4/5 My baby favorite. Decentbattering. Salmon skin hand roll 5/5 Good ratio of rice and salmon skin. Crispy. Nigiri and spicy hand rolls 5/5 Can?tcomplain. Pretty good. Miso 3/5 Don?t really like raw mushrooms in my soups. Flavor was bland and kinda powdery. Tuna tataki1/5 Had a lot of dressing on top. Was pricey but only few slices. Did not take pictures of. Looks nice on the inside, the only thing I enjoyed was the cheese puffs. I ordered a sushi roll that was about $15-$17 and it... was so small, I?ve never had such a thin small roll at a sushi place for that price. Rice was sticky as well. Hope they lookinto this & do better. Read more
Top Sushi is top notch!!! First time visiting the Richmond location and it did not disappoint. My sister and I went during happy... hour which in my opinion is a steal for the quality of food! The peach lychee martini is a must and also recommend the jalapeñopoppers. It was pretty empty when I went, so service was pretty speedy. A nice solo lunch with Happy Hour all day Sundays. The drinks... are great and the food was delicious.. The atmosphere was pleasant and it's very clean on the inside. The raw fish was fresh andvery tasty. So many different combinations to choose from! Not very pricey and a very nice staff to add. We take out, we eat in, and we still can?t get enough of this place. Sure, we have our ?go to? menu items but even when we try... something new it never disappoints! I personally love going when Sam or Priscilla?s running the bar - there?s no drink theycan?t master. Not sure what?s changed about the place this year, but it?s definitely been for the better.
