Stopped here after hiking Mansfield. 5 stars all around. Great atmosphere, food and service! They even have homemade root beer... on tap- must try ???? They offer outdoor games too! Read more
Food was great if you have 2+ hours to kill. We came here for Father’s Day lunch and it almost seemed like they could not be... bothered to serve us. When our food finally did come out (after everyone else who got there much later than us got theirs) itwas cold but still good. As others have mentioned, they were certainly in more of a rush to kick us out and give us our billthan to take our order and bring the food. Will not be coming back sadly and would advise others not too either until theyfigure out a better system. Read more
Driving through the mountains, we ended up here by happenstance - didn't have a GPS and took a wrong turn! We were seated... inside, because outdoor seating was at a premium (reservations needed). The decor inside is southwestern/Tex Mex, which doesn'tmake much sense, but hey, Vermont. Very wide variety of beers, including Commons - which isn't that common! The kolsch wasparticularly good. We arrived on Sunday after skiing at Bolton; just as they opened. They seated us even though we didn’t have a reservation.... Started with pretzel bites which are so good with the cheese and mustard sauces. We each got flights while our daughter had hotcocoa. Great range of beers; too many to pick while reading the menu online. My husband picked a vegetarian, chicken, and fishtaco; I got the old reliable pork burrito with salad. So good. Our daughter rice and beans, which are tasty. Staff were quickto fulfill our order. We enjoyed our experience. Read more
Tacos were delicious, it was hard to pick them from the menu and I'm glad I tried multiple! The staff was quick and friendly.... They did not have burgers for lunch which wasn't clear until ordering but the pickleback pig sandwich was good. It was servedwith a nice dark salad with delicious house dressing (with brown sugar). I have seen a lot of different businesses in this spot but this is by far the best one! Atmosphere is warm and inviting, lots of... seating options, very friendly server! And then of course the food was EXCELLENT (big portions!) and the cocktail I had wasamazing (because syrup) and the hubs loved the beer he had! Would go more often if I lived in state! Read more
