Food was cooked perfect and my scallops were delicious, my wife had the Rock Fish it was cooked perfect but was bland to the... point of being tasteless. Service was slow for a Tuesday night when they were not busy. The atmosphere was good and comfortable.The overall experience was mediocher at best and the price was expensive, not sure if it is worth another try. Read more

Excellent service from reservation to payment. Menu is seafood heavy, which I love. Ordered a little of everything. Scallops and... gnocchi were the absolute star. Cocktails were custom ordered and well made. Also ordered cheddar grits (good but notmemorable), rockfish (good but not memorable except cauliflower puree), and anchovy app (interesting it not quite tiedtogether). Read more
The food was very good, my husband and I shared the rockfish with spinach and the flounder dish. Delicious dessert, I took the... chocolate dish which was Gluten-free. We were happy with the service, except that we were a relatively large group (6 people)and there was some confusion in the dishes that came out, which they attempted to correct immediately. The dessert took too longto come out. I would've appreciated more light at the restaurant, I don't like that it's was so dim. Read more
My husband and I suggested this restaurant to two gentlemen who drove three hours to dine with us. We had a 5:30 reservation,... the gentlemen arrived at 5:30 and luckily found a parking spot. We discovered that we could not turn left from Boulevard ontoCary at that time of day, and that fact, coupled with one-way streets and heavy traffic, resulted in much re-routing. We triedto take advantage of the valet, but there was only enough space for one car to pull in at a time, so if a car was already there,we had to drive around the block again. VERY FRUSTRATING! My husband finally let me out and he continued trying to park. WhenI got inside and found the others, who were told they could not be seated until the rest of the party had arrived, we were toldthat since our party had not arrived within 15 minutes of our reservation (it was now 5:50), that our table was gone. The threeof us tried to (politely but firmly) make our case. Finally, a woman walked over and told us that we were in luck, a party hadcancelled and we could have their table. If the staff had allowed the two gentlemen to be seated and order for us, thesituation would have been much less stressful for our party. Fortunately, our waiter was very nice and very efficient. (Wewere there during Restaurant Week, so the portions were smaller than usual, but the food was delicious.) Bottom line: allowextra time to arrive, especially during rush hour, because traffic and rush hour can create a problem. Read more
