Sadly, this restaurant seems closed. Stopped by to try it out on Friday night at 7:30 and it’s locked up tight. Perhaps they.... We’d to update their hours. Disappointed! Read more

I will give this place another try someday. Our server "S" was very nice but seemed a little inexperienced. I understand that... it's a coffee and wine place so maybe I should have just stuck to that but I decided to order a dirty martini while I waited formy friend to arrive. About 15 minutes later I got a clear looking martini. Jump ahead to 15 minutes after that I got my martinibut it was like they used kalamata olive brine or something else. Ordered a charcuterie plate and this is what reallydisappointed. I think the best way to describe it would be that it looked as though it came from a premade kit. Oyster appetizerand soup was delicious. We got a bottle of wine and mussels after that. Both good. Automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill (hegave me the option of being able to add more if I like...) Ended up spending over $220. Read more

First and foremost: the location is beautiful---in the middle of downtown nestled in a corner by the canal and capital... trail---allowing you to watch walkers, runs and the sorts go about their day. I sat outside where there is plenty of space. Icould see myself returning just for a morning coffee to watch the passersby. In fact, I couldn't help but think it enticing tothose walking by if the restaurant ran a small coffee stand right by the trail. Unfortunately, the dining experience didn'tmatch the location. I arrived later for the breakfast window and attempted to order two items before finding one the kitchenwasn't out of. Ultimately, I chose the salmon cake with cheese grits and fried apples. Good but not quite delicious. The foodtook way too long to arrive--a little over an hour. While waiting for food I tried their drip coffee--a speciality according totheir website--which was enjoyable but not memorable. When I asked about other coffee options the waiter cryptically respondedthat, "they have an espresso machine in the back". I plan to return for dinner and hope for a better experience. Read more

Never heard of this place till I was trying to find some jazz on a Friday night, and saw they have jazz every Tuesday and... Friday! Walked down on a lovely evening and split a bottle of wine. The folks who worked here, were amazing and friendly. Thespace was so comfy and welcoming. We sat at the bar and they had the comfiest seats I have ever sat in! Can't wait to go back tograb some food. Such a wonderful place along the canal to grab a wonderful bottle of wine and listen to some soothing jazz! Read more

This restaurant featuring wine, coffee, lunch and dinner is off to a great start! I absolutely love the decor. I came for the... mussels, a dessert and a glass of wine. The mussels which were artistically highlighted by many saffron threads provided a nicecanvas for the black shells. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled Halloumi cheese with the roasted vegetables. For more balance afew more veggies would have been great against the two large fillets of cheese. The wine list featured a good variety ofoptions from many winemaking regions and some local vineyards. For dessert, I was disappointed that the Apple Flower Tart wasunavailable but enjoyed the cheesecake and chocolate cake options. As an added touch the restaurant sits in the retail spacejuat outside of Canal Walk which provides a beautiful backdrop. They also had live music this evening which was an added touch.I will definitely return in the future! Read more

Wonderful wine and coffee bar along the canal. We stumbled upon Bateau walking the canal and could not have been happier.... Wonderful wines and the best mocha I've ever had. Staff was incredibly friendly and I strongly recommend coming here for anafternoon or evening. We were also impressed with the rich history behind the name and presentation. Will definitely be backhere. Read more
