I love the brisket, it's just fantastic. I drive 20 miles just to eat there and it's worth the drive. Sides are very tasty. Just... as they should be. Good is all I can say. Flavors meet expectations, service is good but proportions are not. They are clearly concerned with... quality/portion control.... my $17 meal looked like a kids meal to me. Ultimately disappointed. This was one of the first places my husband took me too when he showed me his home state. I loved it... and saw why he did too. After today, I don't believe we'll be coming back. Our waitress was lackluster at best and seemed to bemore occupied with chatting at the bar. Hardly worth an $11 tip. The food was disgusting. The barbeque tasted off and the foodwas served lukewarm. We came when it wasn't busy in the hopes we could eat and be out of the way before the rush came. Wrong.The waitress dragged her feet bringing us the check. You get better service at a waffle house. There was another woman goingaround and chatting to people and serving food. The ribs were great. Pulled pork was also very good. Unfortunately, for us, they were out of brisket.

I ordered a brisket sandwich it was very dry. At the table there was every type of rib I was able to sample them and sadly all... of them where tough and dry. With the introduction of places like Q BBQ and mission BBQ this is really a sub pair BBQrestaurant. From my prospective if I am going to spend 25+ dollars for a half rack of ribs it should at lest be moist like itwas cook recently. We waited at the table for about 30 mins for our food. Read more

Went here on a Monday around 12/12:30, average amount of people but far from packed and no wait to get a seat. Walked in and the... ?seat yourself sign? greets you. So we did just that right next to the bar, sat there for about 5 minutes or more and nobodycame over! There was only two people sitting at the bar so I told my girlfriend, let?s move over there as we will probably getfaster service! Bartender was sitting near the register and talking to an employee or customer, no acknowledgement of us beingthere or anything. we sat there for 5 minutes and said hell with it and left. This place just opened back up and if this is theway it?s gonna be run, it will surprise me if it stays open.
