This location makes me want to never return to a California Pizza Kitchen. As someone who has been coming to CPK for years all... across the states this location specifically has put a bad taste in my mouth for the chain as a whole. The restaurant wasabsolutely filthy, tables not cleared and flies swarming. Bathrooms additionally were not kept clean. Service was slow. Food wasmediocre at best. We ordered the avocado rolls, wontons, and a California club pizza. The club came out without avocado and thedough was so tough we were hardly able to eat it. The server only charged us for a BLT pizza as a courtesy which I foundinteresting since that is in fact what they gave us. For $60 I will be choosing a different restaurant and I suggest you do aswell. Read more
We have been going to this restaurant for 15+ years, i would say since it is open. This caters well even for vegetarian people.... Chef Adan is best and we are big fan of him. Sitting on the patio as we speak with my children. We were sat over a half hour ago and no one has even come to ask if we’d... like something to drink. Waiters and bussers have passed us several times, made eye contact, and not said a word. A group ofemployees is hanging out at the host stand doing nothing. The only reason I haven’t gone inside to ask what’s going on isbecause my dog’s with me. This restaurant is poorly managed and my kids and I will head home and grab a frozen pizza tonight Isuppose. I came to Visit this location in shortpump. This location had a Happy Birthday special. We ordered 2 pizzas and a special... drink that was super delicious. Conveniently located inside short pump mall and tons of parking. Every time my family visitsthis location we eat here. We ordered pepperoni pizza and steak ????. Read more
Went for dinner on a Saturday.. it was moderately crowded.. food was good but the service was disappointing.. we saw... complimentary bread in other tables but our server never got it for us or asked if we want one.. we asked for an extra plate toshare the pizza but she totally ignored it.. we sat in 2 person tables and they just kept entree plates on the table withouttaking out the appetizer plates even though the table is small.. fortunately we ordered just one appetizer so we could move ourplates around to eat entrees .. It’s just 4 minutes passed 4 in the afternoon, and they were out of bread already. Adam apologized as he takes our order. The... place was not busy. We got our food in no time. Three pizzas. The best was the Thai chicken on cauliflower crust, our newfavorite. Second best was the California club which was our usual best and favorite, but this time it wasn’t. It wasn’tcarefully made. Cuts were very uneven. Some slices didn’t even show. We had to cut them. Veggies were all over instead of aslice of tomato and avocado per slice of pizza. Greens were not spread evenly close to the edge but just mostly in the center.It still tasted good, but we just had to fix it to look like how it should. The chipotle pizza was just okay, but my kids likeit. Overall experience, it’s just okay. Maybe, it’s just a lazy Sunday for the crew, and it’s almost closing time. CPK is one of my favorite chain restaurants. In my experience the food quality has been consistently high. Their rewards... program is a wonderful perk for regular customers. I enjoy eating here and really like their thin crust pizzas. Great flavor! Read more
Service was okay. Unfortunately wasn't very happy with the food. I asked for 5 cheese and fresh tomato pizza, didn't feel... anything fresh about it. And alfredo fettucini was extremely dry and bland. Didn't really enjoy. Read more
