We haven?t been here since we moved in 2017. Today on the way to Virginia Beach from Indianapolis, IN we stopped for dinner and... adult beverages. Italian Margaritas, Bruschetta, Lasagna and baked Ziti all awesome it was traveling 600 miles LOL. Thislittle Italian Restaurant is worth stopping at if you?re in the area. Stopped in for dinner with a girlfriend & I had spaghetti with meat sauce, she got lasagna. Both dishes were served quickly, our... orders were correct, the food was hot & fresh, & very good! We've celebrated countless Birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions here, as it's been one of my favorite... restaurants since I was a kid. I've yet to find a dish that wasn't delectable, with each one being plentiful and endlesslyappetizing. My favorite probably being just the good ol' Spaghetti and Meatballs. SIMPLE? Yes. SIMPLY AMAZING! The staff arealways friendly, attentive and accommodating. Maria (manager) is very personable and always makes us feel right at home and ingood hands. Whether it's pickup, a romantic dinner for two or a family reunion in the banquet room (and air hockey tournamentafterwards) they got ya covered. Desired a very good, special restaurant for a celebration for my daughter, a new 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army starting her... career at Ft. Lee. "Don't judge a book by its cover", she said to me as we arrived. She was right, the interior is painted withbeautiful murals, with stone work taking you to an Italian countryside ristorante. The staff was very nice, smiles all around,conversations at the bar and tables with locals. Bread was light as a pastry, salads biuth house and caesar were fresh andgenerous. For Dinner, my daughter ordered chicken Alfredo and I ordered Seafood Manicotti, wine and dessert were Tiramasu's. Ourwaitress was attentive, water glasses stayed full and dishes taken promptly. Food was some of the very best Italian I have everhad. The generous portion of Alfredo Chicken, the large pieces of chicken were moist absorbing the creamy, flavorful Alfredo.The pasta tasted as if home made. The Seafood Manicotti also had fresh taste, flavorful and light, fresh tomato sauce, withfresh seafood pieces and pasta tasted home made. The Tiramasu tastes like chocolate clouds. Again every flavor catches yourmouth, with chocolate powder on top, the layers and hints of coffee and fresh cream.
