Great for VCU students if you know what to do: While many VCU students are caught off guard due to having to swipe on the app... (you cannot swipe in the store, which makes absolutely no sense), I have grown to really like it. After ordering, food isestimated to be ready 45 minutes after ordering, though I have come in 15 minutes after and gotten ready food before. My onlyreal complaints are about the Get Mobile app- especially how you have no drink options besides soda (I thought VCU wanted to behealthy lol), but it's also just not always reliable). As a long-time Chili's connoisseur, writing this review pains me to my soul. Over the last fortnight, the chill of fall piqued... my fancy for a Chili's trek. With family in town, what not a better way to spend the time? My last two sleeps were filled withfantasies of crunchy Southwestern eggrolls drenched in delightful avocado-ranch and quesadillas bursting out the seams withchicken, bacon, and cheese. At last the day arrived. Alas, 25 minutes of waiting on arrival was required due to a short staff.Understandable. We sat, jittery with excitement and listed off our orders, Presidente margaritas, Southwestern egg rolls, DosEquis, etc. Glee quickly turned to gloom. No Southwestern egg rolls, a virgin Presidente, no Dos Equis.....Disaster. How canthis establishment even be named Chilis? Suffice it to say, my fancy was not tickled. This was not the experience I'm used to receiving from Chilli's. First we waited 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged... after coming in. I observed many employees that appeared to be walking around aimlessly. Finally someone seated us. The serverintroduced herself and took a long pause when she said welcome to Chilli's as if she forgot where she was. The TV's were allstuck asking " Are you still watching". We were looking forward to southwest egg rolls....they had none. We disappointedlyskipped appetizers and decided to order. Guess what no mashed potatoes. At this point the only reason we stayed is because wewaited this long and it was raining. I gave 2 stars because the burger and the steak were good. The cooks apparently did knowwhere they worked and what they were doing. Not looking to return to this location. Read more
My boyfriend and I are both service industry employees and the sad part of this whole experience was that the best thing we had... was the fountain Pepsi. We both got the smoke house combo, my chicken strips were undercooked and had definitely been freezerburnt. My boyfriend?s quesadilla tasted like the sauce on it had been spoiled. The manager on duty was made aware of this(because people could get sick) went to check it out and never came back. I hade a cocktail with a bug in it. Our server, whowas sweet, was not given the right tools to appropriately handle the situation. I did not continue with my meal but my boyfrienddid and immediately felt ill and had to rush to an unstocked restroom. Ate here a couple of times while I was at the business school for the summer. The food was good and I liked their cocktails. The... service could be much better though. It takes some time to get the food out. Came with a large group of classmates and I wasgiven the wrong meal. The service was better on some other day. They have an outdoor sitting area which was good because theirair conditioning was sometimes too cold. They have wheel chair access too. Read more
Absolutely horrible experience with service. Sat at bar, no bartender working, servers jockeying in and out of the bar to fetch... drinks they had no idea about. Servers could have cared less about the customers throughout. Taps broken. Servers too worriedabout hanging out in the kitchen. Read more
