It had been too long since I enjoyed authentic Jamaican food, what a treat! Pumpkin soup on a cool, rainy day to start then a... small Curry Chicken. So much flavor, comfort from the Caribbean to me. My wife and I also split a Beef Patty and she had thesmall Jerk Chicken. Everything was prepared with care, packed with flavor and served hot. Reasonable prices, generous portionsand friendly service. I know we'll be back next trip! Read more

The food here isn't bad, actually tasted quite good! Both of the dishes we ate were quite flavorful and delicious. However, I... don't think the descriptions are accurate for the dishes. The roasted red snapper, wasn't roasted, it was pretty much steamed(likely the foil kept in too much liquid during the cooking process, so it couldn't sear). The Rasta pasta is moreso loads ofbutter than it is Parmesan cheese. There was no cheesy flavor, mostly creamy and salty (but not too salty). I think if thedescriptions were updated I'd give it a better rating. Read more

Hidden gem, that we highly recommend. The food was amazing and so was the service. Prices are extremely reasonable. Looking... forward to the to-go desserts. We felt like we were back in Jamaica. Read more

Before I begin my review I'd like to say that it is solely based on the food. My meal was a take out order and I, therefore, can... not comment on any in person service. That being said: I ordered from the restaurant on January 14th through grubhub. Based onthe reviews I was excited about and had high hopes for the food. My mouth was fixed on oxtails and rasta pasta.I've had disheslike these at Caribbean/ Jaimaican restaurants in New York. They were amazing and something I craved when I returned home. Soyou can only image my extreme disappointment at the entrees I received. My mother and opted for the oxtail meal, rasta pasta, beef Patty's, fried plantains and an order of coco bread to split. Everything.... EVERYTHING was absolutely disappointing. Theonly reason I'm giving 2 stars is because when called to be told they were OUT OF oxtails for the evening, by whom I'm assumingwas the manager or manager on duty, I was offered a refund for not only the side of oxtails but the rices and peas/cabbage orderas well. I thought that was good customer service. But the food we did receive was unsatisfactory putting it nicely. - Therewas absolutely NOTHING rasta about that pasta. It was basic alfredo sauce and noodles with spinach and tomatoes? The flavor wasbland and unappealing. I paid an extra $5 to have shrimp added and I think I literally paid a dollar per shrimp because that'sall I got. And to make matters sadder that was the only thing that had any flavor to it. More shrimp and the dish would havebeen decent! - the coco bread was quite literally a plain bun. I've had coco bread where it's usually lightly toasted with anice caramelized toasted layer that I'm assuming is sugar not really sure but it's delicious. This...plain bun that I paid $2for was not good. Highly disappointed - the plantain was decent. Not great, rather mediocre. Bland. -the beef Patty's we savedthe next day for lunch. Again incredibly bland no flavor. The frozen beef Patty's you get fr Read more

I chose this spot for my Birthday Lunch and let's just say I picked the right place. A young man by the name of Zaire was our... waiter. He was on point with bringing whatever we need it. I love the fact that I didn't have to ask for anyting. Every timethis young man came to the table he had a smile on his face and was happy to assist in any way. I will definitely make thisestablishment one of my go-to places when I want to eat authentic food.. You have to try the food its delicious an inexpensive.Ask for Zaire Read more
