I love the funky, tropical decor in this stylish, intimate neighborhood diner-like restaurant. Parking is in the rear. ... Outside dining helps to handle the steady flow of customers who make Little Nickel so popular. Inside seating may be at cozy,retro vinyl-upholstered booths, tables or at the counter/bar. The food is outstanding and size portion is amazingly generous. Weall loved our entrées, but barely made a dent in them. This is a cute Mexican/Hawaiian restaurant. I didn't make reservation so it was about 30mins wait time that we wanted to sit... inside. They have two outdoor space but it's not great for a hot summer. They took down the name and phone number so you can gowalk around or get a drink at the bar. When I arrived I saw everyone taking boxes of food when they left thought they were justhere for take outs. But actually it's because all the portions are huge at this place. I had the crab Spaghetti I swear it couldfeed 4 adults. I ate some and pack a whole box and still have a lot left in the bowl. It's a bit of waste to be honest, no onecan ever finish the bowl. The nacho is very nice and good flavor, but it's still also very huge portion for appetizer. Serviceis great, the hostess is very friendly and our waiter is also very attentive. Read more
This restaurant was really impressive! From atmosphere to the food/ drinks. It was my first time checking this place out.... Normally I don't leave Richmond city very often but this was worth the short drive. They have a wonderful patio in the front ofthe restaurant but a somewhat cramped interior dining room. When people wait for the their tables, it can get a littlecongested. There is a small parking lot in the back with a bigger parking lot about 30 feet further away. I had the fish plateand it was great! My girlfriend had a salad with tofu! Only issue I have is the prices are kinda expensive. However, Idefinitely recommend!! Read more

The food here is pretty good, and the drinks are great. They give very large portions here and most of the food we got was... delicious, however the grilled shrimp on the salad was literally the worst shrimp I've ever been served at a restaurant. Otherthan that, it's a great atmosphere and worth going to. Read more
A friend of ours recommend this place and it was definitely worth it! We ordered the Hawaiian Nachos (which was absolutely... delicious), General Tso?s Wings (really really delicious), and the Lamb Shank Tacos (tbh this was just okay. I just wished ithad more flavor. I think I?ll try out other food instead). I also got the Cosmic Love but I honestly didn?t find anythingspecial about the drink. Overall, the vibes and the service is great. Nice patio out front with some high powered fans. They allow dogs in case you have 1 and like to bring it out to lunch with you.... The server even brought out a water bowl for him! I got the calamari and lamb cheese steak. Both were super good! Woulddefinitely come again if in the area. Read more
