Been to Metzger twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. Extremely cozy little spot with great wait staff, awesome cocktails... and some of my favorite entrees. The chicken schnitzel is easily the best I've ever had and I'm looking forward to going backsoon! Read more

My husband and I had a small wedding ceremony in October 2022. We had a private dinner with our families here afterward, and it... was absolutely magical. Fantastic service and food. Moreover, we were (and are) so glad to support such a wonderful smallbusiness in the Richmond community. Thank you, Metzger! Read more

Food portions are a bit small but everything was delicious, especially the potatoes.

This place is lovely! Tucked into Church Hill, the food, atmosphere, and staff are on point and so charming. Food is interesting... and well prepared. Drinks are yummy and mocktails are great too. Can’t wait to go back soon! Read more

Great dishes and all with a unique taste. I hear the menu changes frequently so didn’t want to review a specific dish as they... were all very good. Read more

The place has a great reputation but didn't live up to it. Chicken schnitzel kinda tasted like a chicken nugget. Pasta need... more sauce. Menu online doesn't reflect what they are actually serving at all. Mixed drinks and beers were good. Service wasprompt. Read more

Very fancy and good cuisine. Nothing to complain about that, this a very good true/real restaurant. But the quantities could be... a bit bigger or some plates have something that fills a bit. Desserts are great too Read more

Very fun experience trying such a interesting and adventurous menu here! I loved the patio seating and the attentive and... friendly service from our waitress. My favorite things we tried were the tapioca pudding dessert with figs, grapes, andshortbread and the mussel broth with the toast points. To me, the schnitzel was a little salty and had a prominent flavor of theoil it was fried in. This main and the cheese appetizer needed something sweet to balance the dish out. Overall an enjoyableexperience! Read more
