Wow! This small, family owned resturant serves fabulous Ethiopian food! There is something for everyone here. Our family has... both meat eaters and vegetarians and everyone was raving. If you've never tried Ethiopian food I highly suggest you do. Thestaff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Thank you Nile for sharing your food and culture! Read more

Nice little spot for authentic Ethiopian cuisine. We shared a couple of the appetizers and then a vegetable combo plate that... allows us to sample the other items on the menu. The flavors were a nice mix of spices without being mouth-on-fire hot and thestaff was very kind, helpful, and engaging as it was our first visit. It will definitely not be out last as we look forward tomore in the future! Read more

Wow. I am blown away with how incredible that food was. I also suffer from celiac disease which makes finding gluten free... options hard, but not only was almost everything gluten free on the menu but i could trust there would be no crosscontamination. What an absolutely amazing experience eating here!! Read more

Best traditional Ethiopian food in RVA, great vegetarian options and really delicious meat and salmon. Staff was kind and ready... to help by explaining the translation for some dishes. First came here 4 years ago and the food is just as good now as it wasthen. Read more

If you're looking for a casual but unique dining experience, check out Nile. Small place tucked just enough away from the hustle... and bustle of the city, this restaurant offers a menu that is sure to excite your taste buds and won't break the bank. The staffwas friendly and helped explain what each dish was, how to pronounce them, and what to expect. My date each got a sampling ofveggies and meat dishes, each one packed with spices and flavor. Only thing to consider is if you want to go with more than 4people, I'd definitely call ahead, as seating is limited and they may not be able to accommodate you right away. Perfect casualdate spot though. Read more

A true hidden gem. It?s not really a big restaurant but more like a bistro/cafe with a couple seats and tables. They serve some... of the most essential Ethiopian dishes. If you don?t know what to order, just go with veggie and meat combos. Then you get totry a bit of everything. Read more

Wow wow wow. This place - the staff, food, quality, service, etc. - is amazing. My husband and I visited Richmond and were... excited to try this place! When we arrived they told us that the brunch menu was available, so we tried a few things and wereblown away by it all. So much so that we decided to visit again for dinner! Every employee was above and beyond kind andpersonable. We will most definitely be back and can't wait to try everything else on the menus. Read more
