They have the best fried chicken for take out. Store is always clean and staff is pleasant and helpful. Recommend

The worst experience I have ever had at a Panera. Ordered online with rapid pickup--first mistake. Checked the items in the... bag---yep, right number of items, marked according to ticket. Get to our family's house to find that nothing was right exceptone order. What was supposed to be an Napa Almond Chicken sandwich was bread with a single slice of cheese and turkey--nothingelse. Two Smokehouse BBQ Chicken sandwiches were pathetic--nothing on them and as flat as a grilled cheese under a flatiron! McDonalds would have been far better than this. Nevermore! I stopped getting coffee at this place when I go in between 8:30 and 8:45. There were at least three times where I end up... waiting or even leaving without coffee as their containers were empty. The Panera near Cox and Broad is much better in myopinion. They?re cleaner and I have not encountered an empty coffee container. Read more
This location is fairly convenient for the Short Pump residents and businesses. Parking can be difficult during lunch or dinner... hours. Associates behind the counter are always very friendly and helpful. I love half price bagels on Tuesday and MyPanera+Coffee subscription. Online ordering system is easy to use, there is designed location for In-Cafe pickup and Curbside pickupis also available. Panera Bread is a wonderful franchise restaurant, however I never felt stuffed after a meal here. Theportion is healthy, but not big. Teriyaki Chicken & Broccoli Bowl looked like someone already ate half of the order, howeverthe food was delicious and there was generous amount of Teriyaki Chicken. Flatbread Pizzas, Sandwiches, Soups, and Salads arealways good. Read more
Ok, 5 stars for food..Steady eddy. Food is consistent and lots of Options to choose from. Ventilation; however, is horrible and... is a 0! Have eaten here twice in the last week and the smell of burning/cooking food is enough to take your breath away(literally). It?s so bad that is truly hard to breathe and when you leave the clothes you have on are saturated with the smell.This must be an easy fix...a ventilation fan. Surprisingly there is not one over the area where there panini machines/ ovensare. It?s bad! Yet the front of house has huge ventilation fans over the baking area. Bad set up! Read more
