This afternoon I went to this Popeye?s to order lunch. I went inside to order since the drive thru had 8 cars waiting to order... their meal. There were 5 people waiting inside to order. The man at the counter ordered a multi-piece chicken dinner and tookhis food to a table. After about 5 minutes the man returned to the counter and advised the manager that he didn?t receive thecorrect chicken pieces (he already ate one piece of chicken). I was still waiting to order my food when I noticed the managertake the box of chicken and reach (with a tong) into the box and take the wrong piece of chicken and then place the chicken thathad already been handled by the customer back on to chicken tray (to be resold to another customer) with the freshly madechicken. The lady in front of me who still hadn?t ordered turned around and said that is ?nauseating and despicable?. She saidshe will never return to this Popeyes and I agreed with her. I will be contacting the health department on Monday about thisincident and hopefully this will initiate a ?full scale health inspection? of the facility. If this practice of inappropriatefood handling happened today there is a high probability that this is a common acceptable practice. Shame on Popeyes - this wasinexcusable! Consumers should stay clear of this fast food restaurant and hopefully corporate will do an audit of this store?sfood handling process. Read more

Went for take out at dinner time around 5 pm. It was very busy but service was prompt and courteous. I made a special request:... to have a portion of cajun gravy as dipping sauce for the chicken and the asst manager at the register was kind enough tooblige. Popeyes had commercials for a new fish sandwich, they had a big signs on the window about the fish sandwich, so I order it, the... person working obnoxiously says "We don't have fish, this is a popeyes." Another time commercial says they have mac and cheese,a sign on the window and on the menu says Mac and cheese, the guy at the window says "we don't sell Mac and cheese" The chickenat this particular Popeyes is also usually over cooked in my experience. Last time I ordered a 12 piece and 6 of the pieceswere wings. I've come here a few times and I don't think ive ever had a good experience. Edit/update: They have a sign on themenu for a surf and turf meal. (Picture included) Get told they aren't serving that here. Read more

Spent almost $25 bucks. Save your money and go elsewhere. This place just cannot get it right. You'd think for as long as you... have to wait due to then being busy that the food would be good and fresh, NOPE, it's ALWAYS an issue EVERYTIME, so I knewbetter, just thought I'd try again since it had been about 8 months, nothing changed, red beans and rice wasn't even edible, rice was hard and beans underneath were dry as my ankles. It seems all fast food service has just gone to $h!T since COVID? it?s not just this location but, order our food then was told... to pull up and wait which we did for 15 minutes finally had to go inside and it appears they had forgotten we were waiting. Hadto go back in after that because no straws, then had to go back in a third time because all the ketchup packets were covered insome weird sticky stuff. So I asked for more ketchup and they handed me 3 packets? I politely asked for me and got another 3. Ididn?t want to be there any longer so I left. Read more

There is typically slow service at this location. I'm specifically talking about walking in to the restaurant and picking up a... doordash order. This is been the same way for about 2 years. For example I walked in five to ten minutes after the customerordered and when I got there they had not started the order okay I get that some places are like that. However it was literallyjust chicken and four side orders which were already packed. The chicken was literally behind the cash register sitting underred lamps keeping them hot it took almost eight minutes to put together those pieces of chicken with pre-filled side dishes andI filmed the entire thing on a Facebook live stream which I will tag and post because it sounds weird like I'm exaggerating butthis literally happened the employee was going in super slow motion literally. I'm not ganging up on him because he might have anew but come on now guess how many people were in front of me they had to served before me. Zero absolutely nobody I was theonly one in the entire restaurant. Just me. Just chicken and like some red beans and rice and coleslaw. What in the world isgoing on at this location it goes from bad to worse too bad to worse and then mediocre? Is an improvement oh my goodness I can'twith these people right now. What a horrible experience I just had. I placed a mobile order in the hopes of it being quicker. Upon arrival at the... restaurant 15 minutes later, there were only a couple of cars in the drive-through and 2 customers in the dining room, I wassure this would be quick. I waited at the mobile pick-up area. And waited. And waited. One of the cooks was singing aninappropriate song in the back. Everyone appeared to be moving in slow motion, with no sense of urgency. Sadly, no one lookedat me, I felt like I had to plague. Finally, after 15 minutes of waiting, the manager says to another slow-moving employee,"see what he's waiting on." When I told them a mobile order. the FINALLY went to their register to retrieve my receipt andprepare my five pieces of chicken. 2 of those pieces were dry as sand and barely meat. The topper to this dumb experience wasthe only other item I had was the Mac N Cheese, to which they were out and I got a tiny (not small) side of nasty fries. Customer service is not hard. Treat people with respect. Look at them and acknowledge them. If someone looked at me and said,it will be 25 minutes, I would have happily waited. But I was ignored, and that's just wrong. Read more

Had a great experience at the drive through. It took me awhile to decide what to order since I have never been to Popeyes, the... lady was very patient and answered all my questions before taking the order. The food was ready when I pulled up to the window. The gentleman at the window was very friendly. I have ordered the $5 Surf and Turf with one side and a biscuit, it was plentyof food for one person. Everything was fresh and hot. Very happy with my order, definitely will come back again. Read more
