Yesterday was my first time visiting as my normal seafood spot was some out of blue crabs. I ordered a half dozen #1 male, when... i got home i realized i had 5 crabs instead of the 6 a half of dozen requires. Also a few of the crabs were over cooked/mushy. Icalled the restaurant back that night but they were closed. I called this morning hoping the owner Sam would correct it but hestated ?they don?t usually make mistakes?. In Virginia visiting wife?s family. Googled good seafood restaurants in Richmond area and this one came up. If you?re looking... for ?fancy,? skip this place because it is just down to earth. No dine in but a couple picnic tables outside worked forus. Ordered the #8 of 1/2 lb of shrimp and 1/2 lb crab legs. Wife ordered cabbage and I had the fries. Plenty of food and at afair price. (Would have cost twice as much at ?fancy? restaurants!) Definitely recommend! Read more

It's good but they too expensive. And they need to switch up the hot food selection and season the awful collard greens. The... cabbage is safe , mabe a little more season. Mac and cheese 5 stars it self especially with that burnt top you get some times.Don't do the crab cake sandwich. Read more

The seafood pasta salad was delicious (despite adding mustard to my batch to moisten it up). The hush puppies were good but some... were a little under cooked. The shrimp and catfish were on point. Made up for the last time I had over seasoned shrimp. However there were still minor things that made my review a 3. Worth another try. Read more
It is the Very Best ?Hole in the Wall? Restaurant food that my husband and I have ever had! Fresh seafood cooked to perfection... and awesome sweet tea. We each had the #8 that includes 1/2 pound (probably more), 1/2 pound snow crab (probably more), a side(we had the mushroom, onion, and peppers, a tiny cole slaw, two hush puppies, and a sweet tea, ALL Delicious for$14.99!!! And...talk about sincere customer service: Jose? exemplified that by his friendly, helpful, and kind demeanor.Honestly, we thought that he must own the place.
