My fiance and I had the best time ever at the taphouse! Our service was great and our server Kyrie was awesome and made sure we... were taken care of the whole time. Our food was to die for! We started with the Beer Cheese Queso which was so delicious andcreamy. After, we ordered the chicken tacos and the 12oz ribeye. The ribeye was grilled perfectly, and the tacos were perfecttoo. Food was good, beer was fine. Just make sure you get an updated tap list so you aren't disappointed when you order something... they no longer have! It was pretty slow for a Saturday afternoon but I get the sense they're busier in the evenings. Cool place! Read more
Came in with a group of four for Sunday bunch. We ordered the Mac and cheese egg rolls, brussel sprouts, and fried green... tomatoes for the table; each appetizer was equally as good! I had the Nashville chicken and grits? again really good. Then youtop it off with the drinks? they have a winner here! This place is a very cool spot to sit and hangout. Their Sailor Sandwich is a phenomenal pastrami, knockwurst, swiss, and hot... mustard on rye. You can get fries, onion rings, or salad. Beers are cold and affordable with some at 4.00 during happy hour.Staff is friendly and attentive. Good spot overall. Read more
If this place was in DC or other bigger city it would have been packed on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. It speaks to Richmond's... abundant shoreline that it wasn't. We sat outside steps from the canal walk, got great service, delicious appetizers and a broadselection of beverages. I liked that it was spread out and a wonderful way to pass a part of a summer day. Got the chicken tacos and buffalo chicken dip! They were so good. Also tried the seasonal cocktail called sweater weather! That... was amazing, very sweet and cozy feeling.
