Ate here a few times before, the food was good to me. Today I tried to order something they didn't have on the menu without... realizing, the chef came out and offered to make it for me which I thought was really nice. I thoroughly enjoy this place. Read more

Putting aside that the inside needs work (ceiling tiles, etc), the food is often very good! They should give a larger amount of... steamed rice though. But that aside, the prices are what one would expect in any Indian restaurant. Read more

Right from entering into the restaurant until I exited everything was a bad experience. Interior is in shambles which includes... missing ceiling tiles and I could smell mold in the restroom. Food was very bland and looks like it was cooked by a child. Hadto wait for 20 minutes for 1 peice of naan everrtime..please avoid this place Read more

Bad experience. Got the lunch buffet and was quite unimpressed. Chicken was very stringy and contained gristly weird bits.... Didn?t taste very good compared to other Indian spots in area. Kind of bland and made me feel a bit sick afterwards. Also buffetwas more expensive than advertised on their website. For 15 bucks you could get way way better food. If you want all you can eatIndian food worse than a TV dinner it?s a good choice. Read more

Stopped in here today for a quick lunch. I give this place 4 stars for the category I feel it falls under. This is definitely a... "quick eats" type place. Most of the food items were tasty but the cauliflower and potatoes dish tasted off and was a bitlukewarm instead of hot. Overall I believe the lunch buffet was a good value. The host and cashier were both nice. This is alittle "whole in the wall" type restaurant for sure. The interior is nothing special but the food was fine. Update: Ate hereagain after a few years. Stopped for lunch again. What I was able to eat tasted pretty good but there were several buffet itemsthat were never refilled in the almost hour I spent there. Took about 30 mins to refill the Nan even. To their credit they didreduce my meal price by $3 for the inconvenience (after I asked) but I got to take a star from them because of the experience. Came for the buffet which was great. I'm not claiming it's authentic because I have no idea but I stuffed my face and was able... to skip dinner so it was like 2 meals in one :D It appear the city charges 2 different taxes so the final amount was more like$18 after tax and tip but I assume this is the norm for the area (tourist) Read more

Hands down best and most true Indian hot cuisine in Richmond. I had the pleasure of enjoying this food while on-call for... Thanksgiving. The hospital cafeteria was overrun and Spice of India saved the day. Best thanksgiving of all time. I am goingback. Read more
