Do not order door dash from this location it is AWFUL First off, it says to contact the lovation if you want a change to your... food so I did. I called 4 times with no answer. Had to call my dasher who already couldnt find the store (they must have notput clear directions) and asked him when he got there to change it. They refused to. Screw this location. C'mon man! This Tropical Smoothie location used to be my go to lunch spot. Unfortunately the service has been terrible for... months now. I order through the app, and on my last few visits my order was not ready on time... nor was it ready 10 minuteslater... nor was I given any explanation as to when I might expect it. On each occasion I had to remind one of the staff aboutmy order after walk-in customers came and went with their food. Today was the last straw, there were only 3 staff working at4:30pm and no leader among them. Several customers were waiting for food and the staff seemed to be doing everything possible toavoid eye contact or verbal communication with us. Fifteen minutes after my pickup time my salad was out but not my smoothie. It turned out the cashier had overlooked or misplaced the smoothie order. For some reason they keep the smoothie orders withthe cashier and put the food orders around the corner. This is not the first time this "system" has failed me. Normally service is decent at best, however the last few visits has been horrible. I tried to attribute the lack of customer... service to the pandemic but enough is enough! I stood waiting for over 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was there. Severalstaff members looked at me but didn?t even speak. An employee brought it to the attention of the staff that I was waiting andhis response was, ?He has to wait?? I almost left but the rudeness somewhat intrigued me. Second time visiting Tropical Smoothie Cafe and they hit a home run again! This is now one of my favorite spots to eat. I like... how they make the food to order so you get it hot and fresh. I had the mango magic smoothie and it was phenomenal! To eat I hadthe supergreen caesar wrap! If you haven?t eaten here you must stop by and try them at any location! Read more
I've never witnessed any employee (female employee) leaving the register unattended for over 20 minutes to assist with meal... prep. This particular day, there were 3 employees working for what I could see. Guests were not acknowledged resulting in manyindividuals walking out. I finally decided to order online to place my order. I do not plan on visiting this location againbased on the professionalism of the staff. For others, the smoothie was great (shout out to the male in the back who made thesmoothies and came out to help in the front at one point) so please visit if you do not mind the wait. Read more
My wife and I live a little ways away and it still came very quickly. They also took the time to label both our orders which we... greatly appreciated because our orders were very similar but my wife can?t have dairy. Food was correct and delicious. I try not to write bad reviews, but owners of this establishment need to do some training. 5 employees all standing around... talking while tons of people wait forever for food// drinks. Had to go back in and have them remake smoothie cause it was iceand nut chunks and not drinkable. Then we we went in to have it remade, it was remade incorrectly so they had to start the drinka third time. Saw two other customers also unhappy with service while spending almost 30 min trying to get a smoothie andbreakfast wrap. Worst tropical smoothie experience I have ever had. Read more
