I am not sure how long Khalila has worked there but she is definitely an asset! She greeted me with a warm hello and a friendly... smile that she wore throughout my entire visit. When I arrived at 8:30 this Sunday morning there was one cook who was alsofriendly however it is clear he needs to be re trained on brand loyalty. Example: if you do not understand why one piece ofcheese is provided when hashbrowns are ordered as ?covered? don?t tell a customer! I could have agreed then become irritatedthat I had to pay for the second slice. A second cook came on-shift before I left at 9:15 and that one should be promoted! Hewas talking to one of his peers about how he did not close a store when he was the only one there and how he would not becausehe can run it solo! Not an ideal situation but he is really a go getter! It is clear that he likes his job! The other waiter waspleasant enough but just what you would expect from a Waffle House employee. Kahlila and that second cook are the reason forthis review and the 4 stars, if it weren?t for the first cook it would have been 5. Most of my bacon was half cooked and he hadto re-do my hash browns because he forgot my cheese. The food was ok. Bacon over and under cooked in different areas. The cook was rushing. Scrabble eggs not scrambled all the way,... pecan waffle was good, coffee taste like water on the 1st cup, returned it and received 2nd cup was a little better. The waiterprovided good service. KW Read more
I don't usually go to this waffle house but, it was pleasant until the male cashier came to take my order. Idk wat his problem... was, but I feel, if you are going to address me, please do so by acknowledging my face. Not from a distance. He was training anew worker,so teach her correctly. So now, when I come back in to get my food I could tell he was talking about me. Saying "Justry to get them out here as fast as possible." My problem was that he talked to the back of my head and I felt rushed to ordermy food. The manager that was there cooking that day.....she did her THANG on my damn plates. Thank you manager. When I arrived I chose to seat myself it was a little busy it allowed me time to decide it wasn't long before I was greeted by... my waitress Connie I placed my order and waited. The energy was good and the staff seemed knowledgeable there was a littleconfusion with my food coming to the table it was a pleasure to see another waitress Mrs. Shima step in to assist when help wasneeded I received the rest of my order which I enjoyed and left satisfied. This is one of the best waffle houses I've ever had. The staff was amazing the environment was clean and the food was so good.
Walk into a empty Waffle House. Get greeted quickly. My orders taken.. I sit there for 10 mins wondering where my drink is? look... back and he?s on his phone drinking his frappe. I had to ask for my drink. The place is not clean at all. With two waiterssitting around I can see why. My food is brought to me and my order is missing the toast. The grill is a mess. Walked in wasn?t greeted. We sat down and waited like 5 mins for a hostess to acknowledge us. The food came out quick. The bacon... and toast was cold. We never received our waffle because the waffle makers were acting crazy. Read more
