This is a no-frills operation. My husband and I have admittedly been spoiled by the plethora of really good Indian restaurants... in NJ. This was such a disappointment. The buffet was very limited with only a couple of vegetarian dishes. The onion and mintchutneys were tasty but watery. The vegetarian dish advised it had several vegetables but all we saw was cauliflower. Again, thesauce was watery. There were 3 chicken dishes. The tandoori chicken was good. The chicken chunks in sauces were tough. Generallyoutside the onion chutney, the food lacked flavor. Desserts were watery rice pudding with pistachio and some liquidy raisinpudding. In terms of service, meh. The tables had no silverware or napkins. You have to pick these up at the buffet. Thenapkins are the flimsy ones you see in a table dispenser at a hole-in-the-wall diner. Some observations; there were a fairamount of customers for a Tuesday lunch. Some looked like regulars and ordered from the menu. The check is presentedelectronically. The gratuity is pre-selected at 25%. The choices are 20, 25 and 30%. When the payment was processed the serverimmediately pressed the 5 stars for the customer rating. We had been looking forward to going to this restaurant since we movedto Savannah and visited our kids in Richmond Hill. As I said above it was disappointing. Read more

We thought we had our favorite Indian cuisine locked down locally, until I heard from several people about Himalayan Curry... Kitchen. Started with their version of fried chicken, Chicken 65. I don?t know what seasonings they use, but it?s delicious.Normally, I literally always get Butter Chicken, but seeing Lamb Biryani on the menu was too much to pass up. I?ve seen thebiryani dish on a food/travel show and it looks amazing. This place made that dream come true. My wife got the Butter Chicken, and although it doesn?t taste anything like the ones I?ve had elsewhere, it?s flavor quickly became addicting. I could not stopdipping my garlic naan in the sauce. Cannot wait to come back for more. Five stars for food and five stars for service. Read more

27 July: we have been back 3 times since the initial review. Each time, trying different menu items. The food is always... incredible and staff very friendly. Still a 5 star review. First:The food is amazing. I had the Milk Chicken and Garlic Naan. My wife had the Chicken Korma. All of it was excellent. The service was spectacular. The server helped us decide which foodwas gluten-free He even gave us a side of rice to-go since we were bringing home some our chicken. Read more

Was decent indian food, but not the best flavor or spice. Maybe it was because I had the lunch buffet and they tend to keep the... spice down. I'll come back and review again after having a dinner meal. Only Indian restaurant close to Himesville. Staff weregreat, prices excellent and they give a Military discount. Read more
