Don't miss this restaurant if you visit the plaza. I have a Cod & Greek for lunch. The Greek salad is great and fresh. The... olive tastes good surprisingly. Its scent is delightful. The cod's meat also tastes good. The flour layer is not too thick oroily. This offers distinct layers of texture from crispy surface to soft cod meat. Had Breakfast at Allencourt Family Restaurant this morning.They make the best Eggs Benny and along with Crispy Homefried... Potatoes and a couple of cups of good Coffee, great meal. Read more

Have been going here for over 20 years. Staff is friendly. Food is good and consistent. Peameal on Kaiser is my favourite.... Husband loves their omelettes with rye toast. Fries and home fries are always great. Read more

What a great meal. Service was friendly fast and the restaurant was clean. Fish was cooked perfect, salad was fresh. I didn?t... order fries because I saw another review saying it?s cavendish and I can eat them at home. Plus I?m supposed to be on a dietlol. Little place hidden away in the corner that can cook fish the right way is such a nice treat to find. They have greatbreakfast specials too. I will have to come back and review that too. Tugged away at the corner of the mall. At first glance, you may think you traveled back to the 80s, suggested by the decore. But... don't turn away because of that. Cozy place with friendly waitress (not sure why others have bad experiences with theservice). We always go on Sunday mornings... and never had any issue. Great fish and chips. Batter done just right, very crispyand not heavy, with fish that is moist inside. Piping hot when arrived at the table. We always ordered another one with saladas 2 sides of chips always turned out to be too much for us. Check out the special menu on the chalk board at the far end! Wehad the cinnamon French toast this time. My husband thinks it's very good, while I think it could use a bit morecinnamon. Hidden gem in RH. Great value. So far we like everything we tried, except the tea and the prepackaged tartar but thenagain, that's minor and very understandable given what the restaurant's focus is and the price point. It?s a classic cozy place, not very fancy restaurant. I?ve been passing by this plaza everyday on the way home and always smell... the aroma of the deep fried; that?s how got me interested to come in and try it on a day off. I ordered the Fish and Onion Ring,the fish and onion ring were thick cut, the batter was very crispy, and the fish is very fresh!!! I will comeback for sure.There are also some family all day breakfast menu as well if you are not a fish and chips fans. Read more
