Love this place! Big fan of their Salmon Love platter, the fish is fresh and pieces are so nicely arranged. I've tried the pork... hocks and the pork belly also, which I find to be a little bit too salty, but a nice change up if you want more than just sushi.Their torched sushi is just ok, but super worth it if you can find a BOGO deal. Delicious sushi for take out, this is the 4th time I?ve order from Hun Sushi&Pork Hock. Sushi is nice and fresh, like the way... they packed, feels great when seeing some smiling faces, flowers and it?s fish this time! Pork hocks are too delicious to takephotos! Tried this place for takeout and it was great! We did dine in for the first time and their service blew us away! They were so... nice and gave us freebies to try! The salmon lovers tray is the best and has a variety of salmon sashimi, torched rolls andregular salmon rolls. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back! ?? Read more
I love this sushi place! I?ve tried their dragon combo, one of their perfect roll combos. They were very tasty and the freshness... of fish was fantastic. Also, their bossam and spicy pork hocks were amazing. I would definitely get this again next time. Itcame with enough lettuce wraps, sauce, and pickled radish on the side and I really loved it! There are 3 sizes, small carafe $6, large carafe $10 and teapot $23 They also have beers andsoju. Dine In: They do require proof of vaccination. The dishware are half take out style. Didn't really like that nor did Ienjoy pouring my own soy sauce out of take out packets. Food: Very generous with the ginger. Didn't know if I should be extrathankful that they made it obvious that the miso soup was "on the house" ... Sashimi Tray 30pcs It was a bit disappointing; thequality feels like what I'd get from AYCE. But the presentation was nice. Even came with a bit of ikura. She checked up on us here andthere and even brought out the sake carafe to show me the sizes. However because we were there nearing their closing time Ididn't appreciate the smell of floor mopping. As well, not sure what they were using to clean the table next to us but itsmelled like public washrooms so it affected my appetite. Overall, I'd return to give them a second try.
