Came here for lunch today. Our server Kelly was absolutely awesome. The nachos appetizer plate is HUGE!! Ordered the Thai Salad... which was really just ok. I would strongly suggest the vegan poke bowl and chicken lettuce wrap. The wrap is great for sharing as an appetizer or as a... meal. Kid friendly, offered to entertain them right away with crayons and colouring book. Tried the Virgin Caesar for thefirst time, never knew how it’d tastes like, never again though. Lunch time on a Thursday afternoon was very busy, but it was definitely one of the most chic Moxie's I've been to! They seated... as quickly. Service was excellent. I had the steak frites with truffle fries, garden salad and aioli sauce. It was absolutelydelicious. Read more

We came with a large group on Monday evening and received a warm reception to make us feel at home. They lowered the music and... the temperature at our request. Service was fast and pleasant to get everyone their drinks. Appetizers were deep fried porkcutlet pieces, bbq chicken wings, honey glazed chicken wings, calamari chunks and nachos, all finger licking good. Main courseacross the table all look delicious and my baked salmon came in cooked to perfection and over a bed of wild rice, with lots ofcolourful vegetables. Too bad, there was not a tiny place left for desserts, but I should have followed the advice of thewaitress to have it wrapped for breakfast the following day. Oh Well, next time perhaps. Read more

Waited 5 mins at the door before Simeon greeted me. The lounge area is super loud. The choice of music is good but just too... loud for any casual happy hour catch up with friends. We requested to be transferred to the dinning area and staff accommodatedour request. But the chairs are so dirty. Almost all the booth we see are left with dirty crumbs. We don’t mean to be pickybut we just couldn’t sit down on those dirty seats. We asked to have it cleaned and staff came quickly to help. Small mix upon drinks. We ordered red wine but got white wine. We let our server know and he fixed it for us. The batter on the calamariand shrimp is falling off. The feta cheese and tomato presentation is nice. Overall I’d say some improvements are needed tokeep up with the rest of Moxie chain. Read more

On Thursday we had a work lunch at Moxies Beaver Creek location. We had a group of 9. Our food was alright, and we had visited... this location before. I found the dessert seemed much more dry than previous visits. However, we were really disappointed withour service. We arrived at 12:30 and didn’t leave until 3:30. The service was very slow though when we did finally get ordersin the food did come fast. We were hardly checked on. When the waitress did come on multiple occasions towards the end, eventhough all our plates were empty we eventually had to actually ask her to clear our plates as they just sat there each time.When our dessert orders were taken she didn’t even ask each person their order and some were missed and when we tried to speakup the waitress walked away. We had used this restaurant for several work meals and after this experience we unfortunatelywon’t be returning. Read more

First time coming down to the Richmond Hill location and I am thoroughly impressed. I've been to other Moxie's locations and... have honestly not had as memorable an experience as I had here. My friends and I came down on Saturday, but I've only had thechance to really sit down and write a review now. I'll begin by saying Alyssa is AMAZING! She was energetic, enthusiastic, andincredibly professional. I was shocked to hear she's only been there a month; she waits tables like she's been working the jobfor years. We will definitely ask for a seat at her table the next time we come in! The sirloin I ordered came out perfect; thesalad crisp. Can't say much for the other dishes except that the shared appetizers of the tuna and guacamole were instant hits!Compliments to the kitchen. The ambiance itself was amazing as well. Certainly more lively at the bar with two games going onthat night (Raptors and Leafs), but also providing an intimate environment in the dining room. Though we were having dinner thatnight I would be more than happy to return on a game night and take my sportsfans to the bar side! Overall good food, excellentservice, and all enjoyed in the company of great friends. When choosing a location to have our next gathering, this particularMoxie's will be on the top of the list.
