We visit here because we always thought they served really good karaage. It was amazing, came up crispy, piping hot, and... absolutely delicious. We ordered ramen as well, and it was okay, I always thought the texture of the noodles was not exactlylike traditional ramen noodles, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Regardless, the taste was good. Recommended to fill thoselate night cravings! Read more

Shoyu Ramen - ?????????? Really enjoyed the hot broth and the taste of the noodles with the runny egg. Black Garlic Ramen... ???????? Overall good solid ramen, wish the quantity was a bit more. Korokke ???????? The Korokke was really well done wish thequantity was a bit more, felt like they reduced the amount given. Read more

It's unfortunate that I have to give this restaurant a 3 star. I've been here before it was kind of mediocre but that was... pre-covid so I thought I'd give this place a try again. The kind young gentleman was fantastic. He was kind, polite, welcomingand apologetic. Management should have staffed another server to assist him. The poor guy was running around taking anddelivering dine in and take out orders all by himself. And because of the lack of support he did get my order wrong twice. Iordered 1 black garlic thin noodle with egg and 1 spicy ramen thin noodles and a chicken wing app. He was bombarded with ordersand patrons so he brought my order wrong twice. I didn't even want to bother him to correct my meal. As for the food itself, the black garlic was disappointing where there wasn't any visible floating black oil, flavour or fragrance. If I didn't know, Iwouldn't think it's black garlic. The spicy noodle was average. Nothing special. Their online menu and in-house menu differs asthere are beers they don't carry. Overall I wouldn't come back on purpose. Read more

Ordered: Black garlic ramen: barely can?t taste the garlic, soup wasn?t tasteful, just salty. And can?t seem to find why the... noodle could stick together like a take out order. Karaage: plain, taste only mayonnaise sauce. Diet Coke: never severed. Fornon-asian: give it a try, judge on ur own taste. For Asian: run, babe run Read more

Increased price to $15.50 for 1 bowl of ramen even when ordered directly over the phone. I understand that prices are inflated... when ordered through food delivery apps but why inflate the prices for direct orders? Now its NOT pocket friendly anymore forthe same portion size (see image). My last order because this price is completely senseless plus I hated the miso ramen as ithad absolutely no flavor. Moreover, the utensils they provided with the food seemed cheaper than dollarama and easily bent andwere useless.(see image) Read more

Bayview and Major Mackenzie location in Richmond Hill. There are other locations at Yonge & Eglinton and another on Queen West.... This is the first time eating at this ramen chain. Cute atmosphere, friendly staff. I like the two large chalkboards on thewalls with the artwork. Vaccine passports checked at the door. Contact tracing via QR code at the table. Menu is also on a QRcode at the table. Small plexiglass screwed to one side of the table to help with separation from other tables while eating. They appeared to be understaffed with only two people on the floor serving foods taking orders, screening customers for dine in,and handing out take out orders and most tables were full. There appeared to be two people in the kitchen cooking. Weordered 1. Fried tofu appetizer: not good. Tofu was hard and dense and the batter was also hard. 2. Black Garlic Ramen: broth iscreamy and has good flavour. Egg yolk was more cooked compared to other places 3. Spicy Ramen: good broth. Was actually a goodlevel of spicy-ness. The noodles were much too hard for my liking. I should have asked for it to be cooked to a softertexture. The ramen comes in a plastic bowl. A bit pricey for the portion compared to other ramen restaurants. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment so it?s unlikely we will return. Read more
