Came here for a Friday dinner based on great reviews. We were received by the hostess , older lady, who needs training imo or... having a bad day?. She seemed not happy to be there. We gave our names, she had no response just walked over to the computerto looked at our names then grab the menus with not a single word walked towards a small table. So we assumed to follow her.Usually hostess will say "please follow me". Anyway, going on. Once seated, we were attended immediately by our server. Support staff were excellent. We listened to the reviewers and ordered the fish entrees. Yes, the seabass dish was a divine, uniquely prepared and presented. If you are in the area , give them a try. The place has a rustic feel. It offers indoor andoutdoor seating. Tables are small. Read more

We had a spur of the moment brunch today, and by the grace of God we stumbled upon Baileys. It was the absolute perfect brunch... spot. The music they played set the mood for a relaxing vibe, and the food was delicious. Now, all that is great, but what givesthis place 5 stars is the service. Everyone from the hostess to our server was so nice! Almost every staff member here helped us(it didn’t matter that we were or weren’t their table or not). I could not believe how nice the staff was here. I wish Ilived closer so I could go here every weekend. If you are ever driving through Ridgefield (like we were) give Baileys a try—you won’t regret it! Read more

Bailey's catered our wedding with their pizza oven in September, 2021. Sal met with us on the phone, then later at the site.... They provided everything we needed for our special day, and were self-sufficient and responsive. They did salads and pizza fordinner, and it was all timed well. Their staff were professional and all of the food was delicious! Read more

Best restaurant in Ridgefield CT so far. Had dinner for two outdoors on a Friday. Weather was perfect. There was a... singer/guitarist Gene who was excellent. The hostess was friendly and warm. We had sunchoke dip as an appetizer. It was servedwith toasted bread and was delectable. Never had this before anywhere else. It reminded me of hummus. Original and good. Firstmain course was fried chicken with biscuits. That was excellent. The skin was crispy and the inside moist. Flavorful but not toosalty. It reminded me of the equally-good fried chicken at the Farmer and the Fish. The other main course was the pork chops. Weordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly. Tender and juicy and flavorful. The meat was marbled with a bit of fat whichadded more flavor and texture. The Manhattan (with Maker’s Mark) was also excellent. First time outside of the Surrey Hoteland the Mark (both on the UES) that we have had a Manhattan this good. The food here was original and delicious. I liked itbetter than the Jean Georges restaurant in Bedford. It was probably as good as our other favorite in the area, Farmer and theFish. Read more

An all around amazing experience, service, atmosphere, food quality, and energy! A local favorite, for many reasons, the only... way to find out why it is beloved by the neighborhood, is to find out yourself. OpenTable friendly, pet friendly outdoorpatio. A must, oh the PorkChops .... delicious! My new favorite local Farm to Table! Read more

I just spent a great deal of time writing my 2nd review of Bailey's Backyard, visited recently before going to Ridgefield... Playhouse, but what's becoming a regular occurance, my phone or provider or GM itself, shuts off before my post is about donelosing all content. Too bad, as my readers would have liked that detailed review. In brief, 2nd visit here was good. Samepleasant atmosphere, service and complimentary corn bread and warm syrup. Two nice special menu drinks: Gin in Pink with Empressgin and Ballard, also a gin cocktail. No new apps called our name as the prior visit's scallops with cauliflower. They were outof the salmon and duck. The star dish was the braised beef short rib. On the first bite, my mouth exploded with flavor.Superb. The rabbit dish wasn't what my partner ordered and enjoyed before. We didn't bother to look at the new description ofthis entrée, as we assumed it was the same, so just ordered the rabbit. If we had, we'd have seen it was now braised rabbitPappardelle, i.e. rabbit with wide noodles and completely different. Shredded meat with a broth, more like a pasta dish or stew.(See photos) Still fine food. Enjoy. # This was a real find that my partner chose for us to have dinner at before a show at theRidgefield Playhouse right nearby. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. The interior isintimate with two rooms, wood floors and tables and black leather booths. We had a choice of getting the chef's four coursedinner for forty dollars per person on a Wednesday night, with the option of adding a bottle of wine for twenty more, orordering from their regular menu. Looking over the chef's choices per course, which were all fine, we chose to order from themain menu, mostly because we wanted to try the soup our waitress said was really good. It was a seafood chowder with seafoodsausage. The creamy base coated the pieces of lobster, sausage and slivers of crisp slab bacon perfectly. This is def Read more

Nicely decorated restaurant where I had high expectations based upon a friend's reviews of farm to table, but alas, I was very... disappointed. Like recent reviews stated, the food is over salted. The staff is very friendly and service is OK. However, when having a tasting menu with wine, you have the wine poured before you receive the food, not five minutes later. The winesare just good, but need better selections to compliment the foods - I was dining with a sommelier who questioned the white winewith mushrooms instead of a Pinot Noir. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. (I should have taken the waiter's advice andnot ordered the mushroom mess - mousse!) Read more
