I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant and finally had a chance tonight. The patio was appealing for a summer evening. The... food was good but pricier than comparable dishes elsewhere. The service was bizarre. For some reason our server didn’t likeone member of our party and was rude, condescending, and intrusive. They did not listen to what they wanted, and felt the needto demonstrate their point by taking their pen and drawing on the menu. I don’t think we will ever go back. Read more

First time at gallo for my bday celebration. Service was great! Our waitress was attentive but not over. The appetizer we... ordered were, kale salad (great with just enough lemon dressing and pears); polio (the grilled octopus with yukon potato puree,the puree was delicious, perfect match with the grill octopus); and the special of the day halibut in some delicious puree. Itwas so good I forgot the name of the dish.. For entree we ordered spaghetti and risotto. Wow! The spaghetti was tossed in awheel of parmigiano reggiano table side. It was cheesy but not over. It was just right. Pasta was cook perfectly. Risotto was todie for. Seafood was in good size to go with each bite of risotto. Top with the crispy prosciutto, just a perfect match! Delicious!!! My husband and I had dinner last night at Gallo — it was incredible! Service, ambience, food… all wonderful. My... orecchiette w/ sausage and brussel sprouts dish was absolutely delicious (we both couldn’t stop picking at it.. and theportion was huge! Made for perfect leftovers/another full meal for the next day). Bread pudding for dessert was alsophenomenal. Highly recommend it! Ps. My husband is Italian and very picky with Italian food.
