My family and I have been regulars at this establishment since it's opened and this place does not miss. We've tried almost... everything on the menu and it all tastes so fresh and authentic. We all really enjoy how we can get a fine dining experience ina casual atmosphere for a great price. The service is excellent with tons of young faces serving our beautiful plates andstellar drinks. Some of our families favorites are the steak quesadilla, ceviche, seafood paella , and the famous steak (orchicken) fajita. The atmosphere is fantastic with excellent decorations and light fixtures. Our only complaint is the drinks areso good you might have a couple too many and you lose track of time!! Read more

Tequila Escape was the first sit-down restaurant I went to after the hardcore quarantine phase of COVID, and it has emerged as... one of my favorites in the area. Ridgefield can be an absolute nightmare to drive through, especially on the weekends. One ofthe selling points of this establishment is that it's right on the periphery of the main downtown area, so (assuming you'recoming from the north) you can actually avoid going 5 mph for half a mile and letting every single pedestrian in FairfieldCounty cross in front of your car. The parking is also great - there's a mini shopping center/strip mall right across theparking lot, so even if the spaces right by the restaurant are occupied, you don't have to go too far to find one. I don't havemuch of an eye for interior decorating (I usually just go to an estate sale and hope for the best), but this place has a veryunique, DIY scheme that still looks really professional and changes regularly depending on the season. My mom and I came herefor lunch this past Sunday, and they had a wintry theme going on - a roaring gas fireplace and a lot of white decor (right nextto our table was this little display of white-washed branches that kind of looked like a classy arts and crafts project, if thatmakes sense). You can tell a lot of careful thought went into the decorations, and it's a nice, unique touch. I'm not a hugeMexican cuisine fan as a general rule, but the menu veers closer to mainstream/Latin fusion so it's pretty easy to findsomething to eat; for every quesadilla or empanada, you'll find an edgy mac and cheese or a burger of some kind. For thisparticular adventure, I wasn't too hungry so I opted for the ahi tuna tacos app - I've had it before and it's not particularlyfilling, but it is tasty. In my opinion it's a bit pricey for the amount of food; you're getting two smallish tacos for $17, soI think $13 or $14 is more in line with the portion. My mom ordered the grass-fed burger and was pretty pleased with Read more

I had my birthday dinner here this week and we had lots of fun. The service was great, even on a Friday night! We had crispy... chicken tacos, which were awesome! I had a gin drink special, which I really enjoyed. After dinner, the waiter brought out asparkling drink tower with shots of strawberry margaritas for the three of us! ???????? Read more

This place is just magical. The ambiance, food, and drinks were all amazing and our server was attentive and friendly the entire... 3 hours the three of us were there. The host was super friendly as well. The entire place was glowing with gorgeous themedlighting, I wish I lived closer to visit more often but will definitely make the trip to eat here again. We sat by the fire inthe winter wonderland section and the cozy nook was aptly named. Read more

I had dinner here with my family. Servers were super friendly and welcoming. We had ahi tuna tostada, artichoke, octopus salad,... beef skewer, Mexican ceviche and shrimp tacos. Food was really tasty but i would say it is not an authentic Mexican cuisine buta mixture of Mexican, Peruvian and Asian. Cocktails were not too sweet and very balanced flavor. I would love to come back! Read more

Excellent flavors in these dishes. We had the steak skewers and jumbo shrimp appetizers—both delicious. The shrimp sits on... top of plantains. The sweet & savory flavors are wonderful paired together. For our entree, I went with the Shrimp al Mojo deAjo. Unreal! A risotto with zucchini & chorizo. A must. Didn’t get a photo of the churros that we had for dessert. They weregood, but ask for the chocolate and caramel drizzle on the side! Read more
