My girlfriend and I went for a cocktail hour and got couple appetizer. I ordered margarita with better option of tequila and an... appetizer which I noticed no price. I ordered anyway- it was a sushi roll. When I got the bill I was so shock -margarita was $45(for about 4 oz class) and the sushi roll $110 with tiny claws of lobster. A $155 for a drink and appetizer is a bit outrageous. Read more

The restaurant is beautiful and deck and outdoor space lovely too. Very intriguing and varied menu, then DELICIOUS. It's... expensive if you choose selectively it'll be a special meal. I'll come back even alone with an appetizer and glass of wine to benice to myself. Wait staff highly professional and pleasant. Read more

Terrasole is not to be missed. Outdoor dining when the weather cooperates is perfect. The DJ for Sunday Brunch did an amazing... job with a perfect mix. Tiny bit loud at times but didn't take away from the experience. Every single staff member is on point.Pricey menu? Yes. Worth every penny? YES! Today's visit was #2 and will be back for sure. Another trip to the Playhouse with time we wanted to return to Terrasole which we enjoyed so much in June. With no reservations... we were seated in the bar room, but if you've looked at my photos this was hardly a hardship. Lovely space with high ceilings, white themed décor, and that painted homage to Sophia. The most impressive thing about this visit was our wait staff. She wasvery knowledgeable about the menu and clear on the timing of our drinks being a little late. Hearing we were going to the show, she asked what time we needed to depart by and our steaming hot mains came out of the kitchen promptly. My partner reorderedthe risotto he had here before and I chose the sea bass - something I miss from living in CA that is not that common here. Thesea bass came in two ways - a special cooked in their custom oven and the one I chose that is a regular menu item. It was okaybut not how I remember sea bass in CA. Healthy choice, anyway. Drinks, food, service, atmosphere, design, liveliness - allexceptional. Thanks to the owner/staff for the complimentary espresso cordials. Delightful. # This is the fourth restaurantwe've gone to before attending the Ridgefield Playhouse. It's another winner and a place we'd go to often if we lived nearby.Terrasole is stunning inside. Ultra chic bar where the Italian born owner has a huge black and white mural of fellow native andactress Sophia Loren on the wall. Patrons can sit in white leather high backed bar stools to gaze upon the movie star in herprime. There is a beautiful large chandelier hanging from the high ceiling in the bar, along with a circular window to bring inthe outdoors. Impressive menus from cocktails to mains to three course options (12:00-4:00 seven days a week) and desserts withcordials. A temperate July day we sat outside on the patio, but there is tented outdoor seating, as well. The unique specialcocktail menu led my partner and I to ordering the Spring Fling and the Blackberry Bramble. Our famil Read more

The person who I presume to be the owner of this establishment made me very uncomfortable when planning to dine with my mother... and 7 yo daughter for a special girls dinner. We were seated and it quickly became clear we were not welcome with a child.Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve felt this way at this restaurant but figured we’d give it another shot. Thetreatment of waitstaff was also very concerning. I don’t often write reviews but in this case I feel it’s important to do soand make others aware of a behavior that should not be allowed in our beautiful family friendly town. This is not a customerservice oriented restaurant who is accepting of all types of patrons. Check out the other restaurants close by and you’ll besure to have a much nicer experience. Read more

Used to be the best food in town. I mean that. It was my go-to for when I had guests in town, special occasions, and just a... Friday night date night with my wife. For some reason they decided to mix Japanese food with Italian food, and it's a trainwreck. If/when they get back to basics, I'll return. Also, the service doesn't match the food. Servers are $$. Food is $$$$.They could use some professional waiters. Read more

My boyfriend and I had dined at this restaurant a few times in the last two years. We decided to try their happy hour two... months ago and now frequent this place often. Their happy hour specials are delicious whether you get the special Sushi roll, which I have tried a few times and love, or their Pizza, Oysters on the half shell or Tempura Oysters, which are all delicious. Last night we enjoyed the happy hour menu of Tempura Oysters and Oysters on the half shell, both which were delicious and thenthe Polletto dello Chef and the 10 layer Lasagna which were both incredible. They have a great selection of Beer, Wine, afterdinner drinks and their desserts are a must have. The staff there is absolutely amazing from the time you walk in until thetime you leave. This is a place we look forward to eating at each time we go there. Thank you Read more
