Came here for dinner on a Friday night. We sat outside and they were very nice and accommodating by letting us sit at the table... we chose, even though it was for four people instead of two, and moving the second table away closer to the street (although wedidn't ask for that to be moved). We ordered lots of different rolls and all were delicious. It wasn't my friends first time butwas mine and I will definitely be back. Pricing was great if you pay with cash, so you get 50% off. The only reason theyreceived 4 stars instead of 5 is because we weren't offered water until we had to ask for it, and also because after checking onus once while we were eating, towards the end of our meal, it took an incredible amount of time for a new server to come back tous so we could get our check. It was as if we were forgotten about completely. Other than that, definitely recommend and I willbe coming back. *Update Came here again and everything was great this time, better than last. Masago is my to-go place for sushi in Ridgewood because of the freshness of the fish. All the sushi is 50% off from the price on... the menu and the kitchen is 30% off if you pay with cash. I usually visited here during lunchtime when they just got deliveredthe daily fresh fish. I know Ridgewood have so many sushi restaurant options, but some of them are just overpriced. I just moved into the neighborhood and came here for dinner after reading all the good reviews. Needless to say, I had a... wonderful experience. I ordered the Godzilla Roll ,Spicy Girl Roll , Manhattan Roll?salmon sushi pieces and it was so fresh anddelicious!! Our waitress was very nice and attentive as well. Poor quality sushi. Fake white tuna ie serving escolar instead of albacore. Only redeeming factor is the “50% off” pricing... which should just be a menu with the correct price but nonetheless results in low cost sushi. For a majority of it you’d bebetter off finding an AYCE place but they do have same fancier rolls than an AYCE would have however a larger number of therolls were cooked. One of the best sushi’s I’ve ever had, we had manhattan roll (on the left) , six flag roll (in the middle) and sexy on the... beach roll (on the right). They were all delicious but 6 flags Roll was our favorite. Definitely check it out. Prices are good,service is fast. Read more
