Terrible! BELOW 1 star. Food that makes you sad! $35 for short ribs pasta - overpriced! But more importantly NO flavor,... ribs? It was a teaspoon of it, sauce? It didn’t have any flavor. Pasta was overcooked. Oh! And ricotta that was supposed tocome with it? It was like someone dumped 3 tablespoons of ricotta from the jar. Small size. It was one of the worst pastaever. $27 meatballs pasta: 2 big meatballs came with it. Meatballs had NO flavor and missed salt! Meatballs were so hard, youwould need a steak knife to cut it. Tomato sauce was from a can, it was disgusting. We didn’t finish it, it was justgarbage. $21 for appetizer mushroom risotto. Bad. It was not as bad as pastas, but bad. It was missing salt. It wasdecorated with cheese. It was over cooked. STAY AWAY! I wish we knew how bad that is, we would have not wasted $100 on horriblefood. Decor? Bad! Chairs are not comfortable and have stains. We have eaten here for years the staff is always on point welcoming and nice the food is amazing. The octopus is the best we... have had in the area. And its always nice when "nonna" who makes the pasta stops by the table to say hi. Absolutely add to yourlist of regular dinners Read more
Have only been there once but the food was good and reasonable priced. We sat outside in the back under the large tents they... have and they made attempts to make it comfortable and fairly pleasant to the eye. The staff was very friendly and being a BYOBis always nice. Can’t really speak on the inside since we were only in there for a minute waiting to be seated outside. Therewas a little confusion by the staff and we weren’t seated by an actual very pleasant host as the website described and what wewould expect so they need some work on that. Would recommend for reasons I mentioned. Read more
We went here for an event with 4 other couples. We had a beautiful outdoor table away from the other guests. The manager came... out to greet our group. The wait staff was fairly attentive but could have been better. The food was excellent, really topnotch. They accommodated our event well. The prices were reasonable for the class of place. I would definitely eat here or havean event here again. Read more
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! My bf and I went to a restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The server was very friendly, but the... food was awful that it tasted rotten. I ordered Filet Mignon steak. I asked for medium rare. I was shocked when they brought thesteak. They brought literally raw meat!!!!So, I had to ask for medium rare again and it was still raw meat. I've always wondered what it was like to eat at this place. Today we experienced the full experience and it was great. During... our visit, Nonna, her husband, and Max greeted us, and we were blown away by the food, service, and hospitality they provided.Having freshly made pasta from Nonna made us feel like we were dining in Sicily. I went to Pearl for the first time last weekend after several friends had recommended the restaurant. They have a nice outdoor... area (when seasonally appropriate). The food was exceptional. I ordered the truffle / mushroom ravioli and must confirm thatit was one of the best that I have had! The staff were attentive and friendly. Sad pasta . Stay away . Very disappointed with the food . It came out so fast it clearly was microwaved /premade a few days if... not a week ago . Waiter and service was nice but I came here for food after a nice Equinox workout nearby. The appetizerMushroom risotto was not creamy , lacked salt and the cheese was raw sprinkled on top which I usually don’t see. Bad risotto .I ordered their famous Cavatelli with Nonna’s meatballs and the meatballs were flavorless , dry , borderline hard . Itrequired some wrist strength to actually break it down. Had my partner ordered the meatball , she would have required assistancecutting the meatball. The tomato sauce almost felt like out of a can . Reminded me of Chef Boyarde color , taste and sweetnessfrom my childhoods days. They said it was plum tomatoes , which are sweet but it tasted unauthentic and processed . It remind meof grammar school pasta lunches. Seasoning was off with the food . Last time I wing it last minute at a restaurant . My partnerordered the rigatoni short rib pasta special dish . Must have been a very vertically challenged short rib because there wasn’tmuch of it in the dish for 35 dollars . Too bad Latour was closed down the block . This meal made me very sad . I didn’tfinish it . Wish we could return our meals as easily as we return unwanted Amazon purchases . Also they charge extra for creditcards .
