Tons of great options for your poke bowl. Many toppings, fishes, and sauces to choose from. Also, you can make your own sushi... roll which is really cool. It is close to Van Neste Park which is a really nice park where you can sit while eating your food.Also I like this area of Ridgewood it has many options which are less then 5 minutes walking for dessert or dining, and ispretty nice to walk around at night. Amazingly, FRESH ingredients and overall taste. I will only come here for POKE from now on. The sauces are potent and great -... lots of flavor. I love how fresh the fish is with no after taste. Portion size was disappointing. For $17 this is sad. Could have ordered an entire Hibachi meal with leftovers for $20 somewhere... else. The bowl was small, loaded with rice and the toppings were sprinkled. I asked for Pineapples and got 3 thin slices. Samewith the pickled radishes. Other toppings seemed to just be missing all together. For half the price we could have ordered bowlsat Chipotle. The three stars is because the food did taste decent. They also get points for following the directions on ubereats to put all sauce on the side. However the chicken was clearly cooked a couple days ago and stored in the refrigerator. Ithad that reheated leftover chicken taste and texture. I had already taken 2 bites of rice before taking the picture below. Butthat is what $17 here gets you. Read more
Its different then what you are used to at a poke spot. They sushi was fresh tasted great. Its table service so as you build it... the waiter puts it all together for you. One think I wasnt used to was how they prepped the sushi in your bowl. Its was likeminced which I kinda liked. You were able to get more bites with your other toppings. The rock shrimp appetizer was lights outand the serve bubble tea. Better then that stuff they serve in the mall. I will be back and bringing some more friends. If youaren't a sushi fan you can put shrimp or chicken in your bowl which made my wife happy. If you are a poke fanatic you will behappy and if you want a roll the fantastic roll was outstanding.
