I should have taken other reviews into consideration when they said the service is slow. Pretty much same thing happened, took a... while to get us seated then we had to ask for the menus after waiting for like 10mins. Chicken salad sandwich was horrible. Please don’t order it. Seriously don’t. Scones and pancake was good but small portion sizes Read more

I'll start with the negative, which was the odd argument I had to get in with the restaurant over getting buttered noodles for... my son. I'm not deducting any stars from the experience due to the interaction, but wanted to drop this in a comment as it was aweird experience. We wanted buttered noodles, but the kitchen refused to make them. Typically, I would completely understandthis, as we are trying to attempt to order something that's not on the menu. But, the restaurant serves Cacio e Pepe. I wasasking them to make Cacio e Pepe, but without the last step of rolling the spaghetti in the cheese. I even said, they couldcharge us for the full order of Cacio e Pepe. There was a few minute back and forth, where the waiter refused, the managerrefused, then the kitchen refused to make it. After a final back and forth, they agreed to make it. It just came off as a veryodd stance to take, when all I was asking was for a dish they already make, but skipping the final step. Perhaps something waslost in the translation between the waiter and the message to the kitchen. But anyway, the food was very good. We started withthe ricotta, which very good and light. We also had the scallops and the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were excellent. I enjoyedthe scallops slightly more than the shrimp and grits. According to my son, they also make a very good buttered noodles, just beready to argue with them to get it. We will likely come back to try a few more of their items as a good portion of the menulooks very good. Read more

Delicious food and wonderful service! My husband and I ordered the burger and the scallops and shared them both.

Love the BYOB, we brought champagne and ordered a pitcher of orange juice. Deviled eggs were yummy. My chicken salad sandwich... was ok. Ambience is cute. Read more

I had a small Mediterranean salad to start and the hangar steak entree. The salad was delicious. The brussel sprouts on the... entree were a bit charred and the potatoes needed salt, but the chimichurri was delicious and the steak was cooked asrequested. Service was ok. There were only 2 servers present and it seemed they were stretched thin with the sudden rush ofpeople trying to dine in (first 70 degree day of the year). Aside from that, I would absolutely recommend this place movingforward for a calm and relaxing meal. Read more

Came here for brunch over the weekend. Nice ambiance inside. Delicious French toast. The house-made spicy sausage on the Vermont... Benny was very flavorful. The Salmon Benny was kind of bland. Maybe it could benefit from some onions or capers. Both Bennyplates could have used a small side salad for balance. The home fries were nicely spiced and crispy, but they were more likenormal fries (a la Five Guy’s Cajun fries) than home fries (diner style) in my opinion. Read more

Let me start this off by saying that I understand the plight of servers— they’re dependent on tips and at the will of their... customers and the abilities of the kitchen. That being said however, my compassion has its limits, and yes, this place pushedthem. For one, it took five minutes for our waiter to even greet us despite being seated. Then it took another 10-15 minutes toget our drinks (one small matcha latte and a watermelon mocktail). In the interim, we were given seasoned popcorn as a starter, which we ate only out of pure, unrefined hunger. It took another 45 minutes for us to receive our dishes: one salad, a pokebowl, and sandwich with soup. As I wrestled with my hunger, I watched with envy as the other patrons were eating or gettingtheir food. Overtime, I became worried. Had the cook run out of meat and had to butcher the chicken themselves? I asked aboutour food once and was met with dismissiveness (this is the exact moment my limit was exceeded.) By the time we finally got ourfood I found out what took so long: the chef was so busy burning my bread! I mean besides the terrible service and burnedbread, our meals weren’t inedible (good news for my husband’s salad!) Rather, they were mediocre and overpriced. Still, Ifelt soured and wished that I had just left to the sushi restaurant across the street (they were certainly getting theirfood.) TLDR; save your time and money (and dignity) by going anywhere else but here. Read more

My two daughters and I stopped in on Saturday for breakfast. We were seated after a brief wait. The coffee was very good. I... ordered a Mexican Omelet which was tasty as were the home fries. My daughters enjoyed their Short Rib Benny and a Veggie Omelet.I would have given 5 stars had I been offered toast of some kind as well as a slightly larger portion of home fries. I leftthere somewhat hungry which was disappointing but the quality and freshness of the food was top notch. I would consider goingback. I'll have to ask for toast next time! Read more
