Having spent 20 summers in the area & have frequented this restaurant with much satisfaction, under various owners, the current ... ? Fine dining ? is more like ?FU ? dinning! Views are beautiful, service , fair, food & menu, fair, (definitely not finedinning) 4 Bombay martini?s =$72:00, served in cordial glasses!! Bar manager was an Ahole , stating that this was normal ,REALLY?? ( not in ^ ^ rent NYC, ASPEN or Telluride) Better off going to True Grit restaurant where the food & drinks are better& honest $$ If you want Fine Dinning , go to ELK Mountain Resort , Ridgway, .. ,Ouray?s , Brick House or Bon Temps. Loved the Sky Bar up top for a relaxed outdoor dining experience. The burger was on point and if you get there at 4 pm when... their happy hour starts, it's half off some rally great drinks like the strawberry basil lemonade. Service was fast and friendlytoo. Thank you! Read more

The restaurant has two sections. One is indoors and the other is called the Sky Bar. This is part outdoors and the other part is... covered but still outside. On a Saturday they had a musician playing. It was busy but calm. We had oysters on the half shell.For our entree we had trout almandine. That's how they spelled it. The fresh grilled vegetables were the best. They have a drinkmenu. My husband had non alcoholic beer on draft. He hardly ever can get non alcoholic beer in a bottle let alone on tap. Heenjoyed that. Kind of an average experience. We had reservations and seated in a loud section in the bar, when I asked to be reseated I was... told the other two tops were reserved. Finished dinner 60 minutes later one two top still open. Not cool, also they were a bitsnotty about it. Read more
57 minutes after our reservation time and the appetizers still haven?t arrived. There are two other couples in the restaurant. ... Don?t go unless you are not hungry and have 4 hours to waste. One other couple left before us. John at the bar was super niceand efficient! True Grit Cafe (down the street) was super efficient.
