Update My family and I went back to Cracker Barrel after being invited by the general manager to hopefully have a better... experience. The service was prompt and they had us seated quickly and were very attentive. We had our drinks quickly, our foodquickly, and it was hot. We didn't have to look for anything or ask for anything and the manager came out by the end to see howeverything went. They were proactive with fixing the previous experience and had a great time. Definitely will go back asusual. My wife, her parents, and I went to cracker barrel as we routinely do for Sunday dinner to enjoy a good meal but itdidn't turn out as planned. We had a small wait to be seated which was not a problem and we were seated for a reasonable amountof time. We sat down and begin to talk and about 5 to 10 minutes in we realized our server has not been to the table we tried tocatch someone to ask them but he finally came out. He took our drink orders and we requested to make our food order at the sametime, our server Benjamin took our orders but never came back from the back for at least another 15 minutes with our drink orderand biscuits. He was spilling water everywhere from his carrying board but no one complained we just asked for plates, jelly,and napkins but once again he disappeared to the back for another extended period of time while our table was wet. He finallyreturned with napkins but no plates or jelly to eat, which we reminded him and he returned to the back for another 5 minutes. Hefinally came back with the plates but brought two grape jelly containers for the table, which we asked for a few more to have atleast one for each person. Benjamin returned 5 minutes later to another table which we caught him and he gave them to us. I love Cracker Barrel, it's the best! The amount of food they give you for the price is awesome. It's got a nice atmosphere, and... there's a fun little store at the front. Their chicken and their biscuits are so good. I also highly recommend the peach icedtea. Read more

This is a recent experience, yesterday in Ridley Park. I went there for a birthday party. The two waitress there were awesome.... We had over 9 tables. The food was good, but my sourdough French toast could have had more eggs and less toast taste, and myeggs were very runny. I asked for soft and not runny. I ordered a fudge brownie to go, which was chocolate cake with fudgeicing. The rest of the party enjoyed everything and ordered more food to take home. The bathrooms were disgusting, extremelyunkept. Will I return? Yes, I'll return looking for the same waitress but I'll order something different. Read more

2 mice running around the dining room. I decided not to finish my meal and asked for a manager and still got the bill! It feels like an authentic American experience. As a Dutch guy I?m not used to (the size of) breakfasts like they serve at this... restaurant. Let?s say you will not need any snacks until lunchtime. Was greeted by the host with a nice smile. Once seated, Soo warm and cozy. We sat by the wood burning fireplace and hearing the... wood crackling was super cool. It definitely added to the element of the holidays. Crystal, our server was the bomb. Sofriendly and patient. The pancakes were nice and buttery and with the warm syrup, sheesh, super yummy. My sausage was good but alittle over cooked. Grits were tasty. Eggs were eggs. My husband's steak was yummy as well. Can't wait to return. Read more
