The food was very good. I had the Fish and chips. Wait staff was great! It was a little on the pricy side though.
I used to live in Rifle and like to stop in when I come back to visit family. The liver and onions was ordered ?medium rare? but... was well done. The cheesy garlic bread has way too much cheese on top that you can?t really remove without taking all thegarlicky goodness with it. But the brisket Mac n cheese is TO DIE FOR! It?s so good that I plan to try and duplicate it at myhouse next week. I took the leftover Mac n cheese to my Dad while I was there and he wanted more! We ordered cocktails that werespot on and very good. We heard someone complaining about the size of their glass and the price and maybe they don?t get outmuch because a $13-$17 cocktail is not un-heard-of in many places in the US. Our server made a little mistake forgetting my icedtea for too long but she was super apologetic and took it off the bill plus she seemed a little new and was quite busy and wealways try to understand things like that. Service is great but this is one of those places where the decor is better than the food. The appetizers were fine but the main... entrees were just tired and bland. I got the Colorado Lamb which was a little over 40 dollars, so I found it ridiculous when Icould only choose one side because they're so cheap they would rather just throw you some bland mixed veggies for one side andthen let you choose the other. ???? I also got lobster tail as an add on which was 28 bucks by itself and it was so dry ittasted like a rubber bullet. We also bought the seafood stuffed chicken breast which was all over the place. The chicken breasthad cleary been split in half with only one half of it being served and they basically dumped a mix of crab meat, shrimp andsauce on the bottom layer, the half chicken breast on top and poured some sauce over it. It was gross. ???? The steak wasbland, sides were bland. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The only food that tasted good was the loaded baked potato.The cheesecake tasted like plain cream cheese. Read more
Delicious food ???? nice indoor seating area classy looking bar lounge. We sat outside on the paito to eat dinner the Salmon... almondine was terrific ???????? perfectly prepared I wish there was more time in our evening to sit at the bar for nightcaps butunfortunately not. I will definitely dine here again, it was the perfect date night spot I truly loved it. I wish I had takenpictures of the plate even the presentation of the meal looked good. I like to call this rustic chic , highly recommended if youare in Rifle area, I would even go outta the way to dine here again. It's family friendly too. Enjoy! Read more
Walked right out! The food sucked. My boyfriend and I ordered two completely different cuts of steak. You could barely cut it,... let alone chew it. The mashed potatoes had zero flavor and had probably been sitting there for hours in the back. The veggieswere ok, but no flavor? we?re just going to sonic for a big juicy burger! ???? The waitress was amazing, and definitely not herfault. But if I?m gonna pay that amount of money for a meal, it has to at least be reasonably edible. Read more
I haven't been here for awhile as it isn't open for lunch and we live in GJ. Let me tell you this is a must go A+++ sort of... place. If you are passing though give this place a try. Tender awesome steaks and gourmet burgers. Mac and cheese was also superawesome. Read more
