Always order take out here, never ate there. Riley is a very small town with only two other places to get food-and those other... are only open infrequently, apparently. So Gambino's (a franchise business) is really all there is. They're closed Sundays. Themenu consists of pizzas, calzones, sandwiches, salads and pasta bowls. I've only ordered pizza. They offer traditional crust, (athinner crust),a thin crust -VERY thin, and a pan crust a bit thicker (doughy) I prefer pan. Several specialty pizzas, theyoffer coupons. They periodically employ very young staff, mistakes are made sometimes with orders and customer service is nottheir strong point, but it's a little place, in a tiny town where everyone knows everyone so you can't expect that. Pizza, whenyou get what you ordered, is good. It always comes with traditional crust unless you request another option. I will continue toorder pizza from them when I'm nearby. I really love this Gambino's! I always make sure to come here when I'm in town. The service is very good and they have some of... the best gluten free pizza ever! I also have never had cross contamination issues from gluten after eating here which is a bigdeal. Highly recommend Read more
We have tried this restaurant numerous times with only once or twice getting good pizza. They have given us overdone, incorrect... order and now cold pizza. We waited 5 minutes or so for the pizza to come out of the oven, drove 2 minutes to get home, openedthe box and the center of the pizza was already cold. Makes me wonder if this is frozen pizzas they are re-heating?? Also, eachtime we have gone in the price doesn't match the price we are given over the phone. We do a nice bit of work in Riley. I usually enjoy having lunch there and look forward to it. It is always good. When I went in... today, I saw the salads individually boxed, it made me feel better about having a buffet right now. When I noticed a woman onthe phone with her mask down, I didn't think much of it. No one was there yet anyway. When another woman came to take our orderwithout a mask, we decided to leave. When we were asked why, I explained that they weren't wearing masks. Not wearing maskscost a couple customers for the day. Condescendingly laughing at us as we walked out cost a couple customers for life. Its ashame, too, as I do like the place. Our company always wears masks when interacting with the public. It is an easy thing we cando to help protect our customers. Its a shame that some people can't be mature and treat public health seriously, and apply abit of common sense. Read more
Perfect example of a small town America pizzeria with retro vibes. Good pizza, which is the most important part, I wouldn't call... it amazing but calling anything other than classic tasty pizza would be silly. They have options for Self service/ buffet.
