I went last week with a friend. I had a positive experience until the time came to pay the check. They charged me a service... charge when paying the check with a debit card. I felt compelled to raise the issue with the bartender. They became verydefensive and unreasonable. It's against the law to charge a service charge for debit card transactions. They're not chargedfees with debit card transactions. I even told her that I was paying with a debit card. That's theft and deceit. It's not aboutthe money. I don't like feeling ripped off. Read more
The place definitely look like it was upgraded since our last trip. I had to talk my wife into going as I wanted to support... local businesses in ringwood. The food was good but the customer experience was worst in class. Since we sat down we felt likeit was bothersome to order or be attended to. We had to ask for straws , plate. Let them know we were ready to order without asingle check in. I ordered a drink with appetizers and I didn?t get my drink until the food was ready about 30 mins later. Thesever that was helping us sat down to count some receipts and took over 20 mins before putting our orders in ( after we hadordered). Honestly it felt like we were eating there for free and they were doing us a favor by serving us. I don?t know if it?san engagement issues or because we don?t look like everyone else in the room but it was one of the worst experiences I?ve had ina while. Took me back a couple years. I?m not one to really write reviews, but I was very disappointed. Husband convinced to let let?s try it out seems like under new... management or just remodel. As new local Ringwood residents for some time we?ve visited once before when it was Maggie?s duringCovid and we had a good time. Today we came with our extended family and it was not a pleasant night. I felt like we wereliterally being voided. Not once came to ask if we needed anything, or check in (original server). We placed an appetizer, hadto let her know we were ready to order after we were waiting for quite some time. It makes your life easier to take all ordersfor big parties soon so that way the waiting time is less. Then another waiter helped (much more pleasant) and she kept bringingus everything we asked . As a VP for a financial institution I always cater to providing exceptional service each and everysingle day regardless of what?s happening around me. We felt avoided and I?m really trying not too think it?s a diversity issue,but when you see someone being pleasant with everyone else around you but your table you tend to think different. We always tryto support our local business but todays experience was really disappointing. Food was great, our family enjoyed it. But as Isaid, the service did not do its justice. I hope she was just having a bad day but don?t let your actions make it seem like youdon?t like attending another race that?s not your own. Read more
Great food. They just added a brick oven pizza, which I highly recommend! Don?t forget to stop by the Jason liquor store to grab... a bottle of wine for home! Kid friendly with a kids menu. Read more
They have outdoor dining and the space is very well set up! Extremely attentive servers, great food, fast service. Awesome... selection of beer, delicious bloody Mary. They wipe down with cleaning supplies after each table. Excellent spot to recharge andrelax after paddleboarding or kayaking in the Monksville reservoir. Read more
