I've been wanting to try this place because I drive by alot. Unfortunately it wasn't what I thought. I ordered a breakfast... burrito with bacon. I didn't realize if you want chile, cheese, potatoes, you have to pay extra for each thing. Not a big deal,I'm just not used to that. I?m from Texas and love my Tacos so the burritos here are pretty good, I?ve only had the breakfast burritos here, tortillas... taste very good not store bought flavor, only 1 burrito is good enough for me. I ordered a burrito with Chorizo and they put hamburger meat in it. Another time I ordered my burrito with green and red chili... and there was no chilies in it. What are they doing? Giving customers any kind of Burritos!!! Read more
I understand raising your prices but make it apparent the sign says 8 dollars for a enchilada burrito and when you asked want... kind of meat beef or chicken please tell your customers it?s extra you phrased it as part of the order so one coke and a burritowith tax is fifteen bucks honestly that?s to high for me when I can go to a restaurant and get better service and food ,so let?stalk about this so called burrito last two times order were incorrect but I didn?t say anything but not this time. My overall experience with this place has been hit or miss since they?ve opened. Todays order was nothing different, I just... decided to actually do something about it. They gave me someone else?s order through the drive through. I didn?t check theorder before I left. I should have, but I didn?t. I get home and my son points out that neither burrito is what he and his dadhad ordered. I call Burrito Express tell them I received the wrong order. They don?t want me returning the burritos because ofCOVID and to just come back and they?ll give me the correct order. I don?t live 5 minutes away from this place so for me to haveto go back out again was super inconvenient for me. I get there and am dealing with the manager. She?s confused as to why Ididn?t bring the burritos back (because your employee told me not to). I reorder my burritos (again) and that?s it. I thensuggest to her, since I had to take an additional 45 minutes out of my morning, waste my gas picking up breakfast two times in arow, I should be credited something for the inconvenience of there mistake. We all make mistakes. Its how it?s dealt with thatmakes a difference. Sadly, the manager was extremely rude and condescending and said, ?we don?t do that. We can make yourburritos or you can get a refund.? Wow! Basically, Burrito Express doesn?t accommodate their customers for their mistake whatso ever. Me being polite and saying ?hey this was a huge inconvenience for me time and money wise. I appreciate you making thecorrect order but it doesn?t compensate my time? Thankfully the tortilla was good or it?d have been more disappointing. Basically $9 for a breakfast burrito and the included... ingredients were meager at best with bacon that was next to non-existent for $2! Ordered Ultimate Steak Breakfast burrito and Ultimate Chorizo Breakfast burrito- both with green Chile. Steak was basically... braised meat with no flavor, and the burrito was just a mess filled with beans so they didn?t have to put actual steak init. Chorizo burrito was basically grainy bits of ground meat with no chile in sight. At least the tortilla was a decent wrap forthe overpriced slop served to us. Read more
