Reviews for Mac's Steak In the Rough in Rio Rancho, NM

Went last week and ordered the Rough burrito and butterscotch milkshake. When i got home to eat it, the burrito was okay, but... very little meat, mostly potatoes, but the real problem wad that the milkshake was made with spoiled milk. Even with all thesweet syrup, the sourness was really bad. It made me sick and i had stomach cramps for hours. I was feeling too bad and livedtoo far away to conveniently take it back. Read more

A good place to eat when you want something different takes a little bit long to cook but great food

OMG!!!!!!!!!!. That was the worst food I have ever eaten!!!!! We had the 8 PC steak in the rough and yes it was ROUGH!!!! The... steak was dry and tough with way to much breading..the bread roll was so dry and stale. Don't get me started on the over cookedonion rings... and to top it off the food has absolutely no taste!!!! We had the hot sauce dip the ketchup had more flavor. I love this place. I used to go to Mac's as a kid when they were all over ABQ but most of them have closed down now. If I'm in a... fast food mood and in Rio Rancho I always go here. If I were to review this place minus my nostalgia I would give it 4 stars.It's still really good. You should get a limeade with your rough dinner. Read more
