The fish and chips here are amazing! Best EVER!! Fun place to go. Make sure you are OK with seeing animals that have been... through the taxidermy process!! It's always a fun experience here. They were getting ready to have a special event, so thekitchen was closing, but they got us fed last minute anyway. Took my uncle for his first time. He loved it! Read more

Very good salad. The fish and chips looked amazing and fresh but I didn't have it. Hamburger was really good according to my... son! Oh! And they have those fries that are coated with who knows what, but really good! Lots of animals to see! The elephanthead is huge! Sort of sad but interesting to see. Read more

Going to Foster's is an experience! The collection of mounted animals is the largest I have seen. I have been there a couple of... times. Now as for the food, the fried asparagus is good, burgers and fries are good, but, the chicken sandwich I had was dry,and lacked a lot of flavour. It is a restaurant I would take friends to if we were in the area, but I can't say I would traveljust to go. Read more
We just left from our dining experience here. This is more of a 3.5 than a 4 star review. I will say customer service was great.... Our waitress went above and beyond and I could hear her chatting with other guests and making sure they were taken care of. Shedid a great job. The food was good but highly overpriced. The prices on Google do not reflect their current prices as of postingthis. For example, currently Google states their Ceasar salad is $9 when it is $12.75 in reality. For an Asian Chicken Salad, itwas nearly $16 plus the chicken sandwich that was about $15. The sheer amount of taxidermy on the walls was a nightmare. I knewthere was SOME but that was so much more than SOME taxidermy. The fact that there were elephant tusks on the wall bothered methe most knowing how illegal the ivory trade is. Some things just can't be overlooked. Finally. The experience of walking in andwalking out was eerie. No fault to the employees, obviously, but the entire restaurant *stared* at us as we walked through. Itmade both of us extremely uncomfortable. It was horror movie-esque. This place is AWESOME ????. The story behind it is interesting and the trophy mounts are incredible. The staff were top notch... and the food was good. I had the bison burger (yes they have regular beef burgers too). There's a full elephant mount, agiraffe, some rhinos,deer, elk.... the list goes on. There are even some EXTINCT species.
