Yeah, food service was a little slow, but our service itself was attentive and great. 5 of us all got something different, and... it was all really good, well made food. The strawberry rhubarb pie was a dream. I'd go back just for that. Some would eat hereand say the prices are a little high for a "diner." Read more
If you heading to Niagra Falls or Buffalo from Pittsburgh, it's totally worth the stop! Minutes off rt 90. A great small town... diner feel, solid menu, and such a pleasant staff. Nothing fancy...just good food. Read more
I was passing through in the late morning and stopped for breakfast, I met the owner and some of his family and the hospitality... was phenomenal as well as the meal! The owner insisted that if I was passing through on my way home that I should stop and trythe chicken and biscuits and that the meal would be on him. I'm not gonna allow him to do that but after 7 hours of not eating Iwas HUNGRY and my sugar was low and I was getting shakey so I had a homemade cinnamon roll as an appetizer. OMG ???? thank youlord for my low sugar because it was the most amazing cinnamon roll ever. Try the food if you're in the area, you'll be glad youyou did. Read more
I grew up across the street but just visited again and needed to provide my review. Friday fish fry is something I can?t get in... North Carolina so if I can I visit when I return home. This time I could and it was great. Chef took sincere interest in mysatisfaction and I couldn?t have been more pleased. Faster than expected as well. Friendly and attentive service staff. This restaurant was an amazing experience all around. It was very packed but we didn't have to wait very long. We got the BBQ... grilled chicken special. Aboslutely delicious. It may have been the tenderest juciest chicken I have ever eaten. The Coleslaw........ Definitely #1 of any I have ever eaten hands down. Not vinagarery. Their scallop potatoes were exceptional. Thesauce on them was very flavorful and felt home made. Coffee was pretty good coffee as well. The service was amazing, the waitstaff were all very serviceble and friendly. Even if it wasn't our waiter they would stop and ask us how our meal was.. For howmany customers are here the staff is very calm and collected and professional. Resturant was very clean aswell. Your All American diner in a rural area that is like being at home. We had business job in nearby town and had breakfast here... every morning. Excellent service and food, only thing lacking was maybe the fluorescent lighting made it feel unwelcoming. Themenu is great as is the quality of food. Our waitress had it under control from start to finish, great place to start the day. Read more
